First steps when you load in
Step
The game defaults to first-person view. If that makes you uncomfortable, you can switch it off in the start menu before you do anything else. Once that is settled, choose your difficulty and begin working through the levels one at a time.
- Open the start menu decide right away whether to keep first-person view on or turn it off, because the setting is there before the game begins.
- Pick Easy mode start here so you can learn the layout of all 23 levels.
- Enter the house Angry Grandpa moves unpredictably, so check your surroundings as you go rather than rushing straight ahead.
- Clear each level in order every level is a mix of obstacles and puzzles, so take them one at a time.

Easy mode vs. Hard mode

Tips
While you push through levels to escape, keep an eye out for the hidden objects that unlock two extra badges.
- Ten screws are scattered across the map — you need every single one for the Loose Screw! badge.
- Three statues are tucked inside secret rooms — the statues are hidden in secret rooms around the map.
Playing as Angry Grandpa
StepYou are not limited to the escaping side. Switching to the grandpa role flips the game completely — you become the threat instead of running from one.
- Press the Grandpa icon this switches you from escapee to Angry Grandpa or another monster.
- Chase and capture other players each person you catch counts toward the 30-capture total for the Pro Gamer badge.
- Stack captures across sessions since a room caps at 14 players, you will need several sessions to reach 30 total.
- Note the VIP requirement the Pro Gamer badge is only available if you have VIP.
