Game modes at a glance

Table
In short Battle Royale and Legacy share most mechanics, but several badges are locked to one mode or the other, so knowing the difference matters.

Two main modes run alongside each other, and a rotating set of Limited Time Modes (LTMs) adds variety. Pay attention to which mode a badge requires before you start grinding it.

Battle Royalethe main mode; wins here count toward the Win a Game badge and most other progression badges.
Legacythe separate mode where kill-count badges (10, 50, 100 eliminations) and the 15-kill-streak badge must be earned.
LTMswins in these modes do not count toward the Win a Game badge.

Badges worth planning around

Tips
In short Most badges happen naturally as you play, but a handful need a deliberate strategy.

There are 23 badges in total. Some unlock just by playing normally; others ask you to change how you approach a match.

Tips worth knowing
  • No Shields — win a Battle Royale match without using any shield items or medallions. Siphon-generated shields do not disqualify you.
  • Loot Demon — open 10 chests in a single match.
  • Win a match with a crown — you must already hold a crown when you win in Battle Royale.
  • Pickaxe Elimination — finish off a player using only your pickaxe in Battle Royale or Legacy.
  • Revive a teammate — use a reboot van or manually revive a downed squadmate.
  • 15 Elimination streak — 15 kills in a row without dying, only in Legacy.

  • Shop reset the item shop refreshes every day at 5:00 PM PST with new cosmetics.

Common questions

FAQ

Does winning an LTM count toward the Win a Game badge?

No. LTM wins do not count. You need to win in Battle Royale or Legacy mode to earn it.

How does the No Shields badge work exactly?

You must finish a Battle Royale match without using any items or medallions that grant shields. Shields you receive through siphon are fine and will not cause you to fail the challenge.

What do I get for joining the official group?

You receive 1,000 A-Tokens and an exclusive skin just for joining.

Can I play on mobile or console?

Yes. Artemis Royale runs on PC, mobile, and console. The keybinds are fully customizable in Settings.

What is the secret match badge and how do I get it?

It is a very rare badge tied to Legacy mode. The badge describes it as highly random, so just play Legacy regularly and do not stress about chasing it.
