CORRIDOR Guide: The core goal
About
OverviewCorridor is a puzzle-horror game inspired by The Exit 8 on Steam, where you walk through an infinite loop and report every anomaly you find before you can escape. This guide covers how the game works, how to handle its entities, which maps and modes are available, and what the badges ask you to do.

The core goal
SummaryThe corridor only ends when all anomalies are reported. As you walk, anything that looks or behaves differently from normal counts as an anomaly. Reach the end of the corridor and report everything you spotted to progress. The rule is simple but strict: do not let anyone pass through.
- Goal find and report every anomaly in the corridor
- Win condition report all anomalies at the end to escape the infinite loop
- Core rule do not let anyone pass through the corridor

Maps and difficulty modes
TableAll three maps follow the same job of finding and reporting anomalies, just in different settings. The Corridor is the starting map. The Sewers place you in another looping environment with the same task. The Hotel has you climbing to the final floor to find the last door out. On top of Normal and Hard, two extra difficulty modes — CHAOS and PERFECTIONIST — can be played on any map.
| Corridor (Normal) | the base experience; clear it to earn Last Corridor |
| Corridor (Hard) | beating it earns Last Exit |
| Sewers (Normal) | same anomaly job in a new setting; clear it for Strange Sewers |
| Sewers (Hard) | reach the final level to earn Underground Escape |
| Hotel (Normal) | reach the last floor and the final door for Final Floor |
| Hotel (Hard) | clear it for the Troubled Hotel badge |
Spotting anomalies
TipsAny anomaly visible in the corridor counts toward your total. Some are straightforward; others blend into the environment. The camouflaged wall anomaly is one of the harder ones — if you get caught by it, going back the way you came is the right move. Jumpscares and tense moments are part of the game, so be ready for them.
- If a camouflaged wall anomaly catches you, turn around and approach it again
- Jumpscares and tense moments are part of the game, so be ready for them rather than rushing past suspicious areas
Entities and how to survive them
StepSeveral entities can appear during a run. Each one demands something different from you.
- Spokesman survive the encounter; the Dark Encounter badge confirms you made it through
- Carnis survive it to earn Hurry Up
- John Parasite surviving earns the Parasite badge; the Obvious Choice badge also hints that how you respond to John's question matters
- DONT MOVE situation stop moving your character completely; the badge says it plainly
- Entity [0] do not fall too far behind
- Void Puddle falling into it earns the Void Puddle badge, meaning you have fallen into the parallel dimension
Controls
CheckThe control set is small.
- Hold Shift to run on PC
- Press L2 to sprint on console
Badges worth chasing and what they require
CheckMost badges reward completion, but several track how well you played. Careful requires finishing a map without losing a single life. Expert requires reaching the exit of any map in two minutes or less. CHAOS and PERFECTIONIST mode completions each have their own badge. ENDLESS mode hands out badges at levels 10, 25, 50, and 100, and the description makes clear the loop never actually ends.
- Finish any map without dying to earn Careful
- Reach the exit on any map in two minutes or less for Expert
- Complete any map on CHAOS mode for Fearless
- Complete any map on PERFECTIONIST mode for Insanity Passage
- Reach level 10, 25, 50, and 100 in ENDLESS mode for the corresponding badges
- Reviving at least once earns Another Chance dying earns First Death

Common questions
FAQWhat exactly do I report and where?
Every anomaly you see while walking the corridor counts. At the end of the corridor, report all of them to break the loop and progress.
What happens when I die — is the run over?
There is a way to revive, which the Another Chance badge confirms. Dying once is recoverable, but finishing a full map without losing any lives is what earns the Careful badge.
Is ENDLESS mode meant to be finished?
No — the badge descriptions for levels 50 and 100 make clear that the loop never ends. The mode is there for players who want to push their level as far as possible.
Which map should I start with?
The Corridor is the map the game description is built around. The Sewers and Hotel follow the same anomaly-reporting task in different settings.
