Three stats that will kill you if ignored
SummaryEvery moment you spend on Snow Mountain, all three bars are ticking down. Let any one of them hit zero and you are done. Food comes from scavenging the wreckage and the environment. Warmth depends on your shelter and how much time you spend out in the open. Water is a resource you collect and need to replenish regularly.
- Hunger find food by searching the plane wreckage and surrounding area
- Warmth shelter is your main defence against the cold; build one early
- Water treat it like food and collect it whenever you find a source

What to do in your first few minutes
StepThe crash site is the richest source of supplies at the start of the game. Scour every piece of debris before you move outward. Once you have gathered enough materials, start building a shelter so that the weather cannot chip away at your Warmth while you sleep or explore.
- Check the wreckage search every part of the downed plane for food, materials, and anything else you can carry
- Expand your search once the crash site is picked clean, look through the surrounding environment for extra resources
- Build shelter use what you collected to put up a structure that blocks the cold
Wildlife threats on Snow Mountain
WarnThe wilderness around the crash site is not empty. Polar bears can deal heavy damage without much warning, so keeping your distance is the safest play. Wolves are also present, and unlike polar bears, there is a way to turn one into a companion.
Splitting the work across your team
TipsUp to 25 players can share the same mountain, and the workload is heavy enough that spreading it out pays off quickly.
- Assign at least one person to resource gathering at all times so supplies do not run dry
- Have others focus on construction so shelter goes up fast while gathering is still happening
- Put someone on wildlife watch while the rest of the group works, especially in open areas
- Share food and water with teammates whose bars are running low rather than hoarding what you personally collected
Two ways to win the game
TableThere are two recognised ways to reach the end of the normal mode. The helicopter call gets you out sooner, while surviving 72 full days is a longer route that demands sustained resource management from day one.
| Helicopter escape | call for rescue once the option becomes available, ending the run relatively quickly |
| 72-day survival | stay alive through 72 in-game days |
Water Game Mode
SummaryAlongside the main crash-site campaign, the game includes Water Game Mode. It runs its own day counter starting at Water Day 1 and has a distinct win condition separate from the helicopter or 72-day routes.
- Day progression Water Game Mode tracks days independently from the main mode
- Win condition clearing it rewards you for finishing its own objective, not the helicopter or 72-day goal

Common questions
FAQWhat are the two ways to actually win the game?
You can call a helicopter to escape the mountain, or you can survive for 72 in-game days. Both are valid endings.
Can you play solo, or do you need a full group?
Solo play is possible, but you have to handle resource gathering, shelter building, and wildlife watch all by yourself. Teaming up with even a few other players makes survival noticeably more manageable.
What is different about Water Game Mode?
It is a separate mode from the main snow-mountain campaign and runs its own day progression starting at Water Day 1. It has a unique win condition, so the goals differ from the helicopter or 72-day routes in the normal mode.
