There are at least three areas off the beaten path, and finding them is a big part of what makes the game worth replaying.
Finishing the hill is only one thing Car Slide asks you to do. The course hides a shredder, a space area, and a secret area that most players never stumble into during a normal run. The winner's space near the goal also has its own activity.
