About

Overview

Spectral Fades REMAKE is a Sonic the Hedgehog-themed horror chase game on Roblox where players split into two sides: Survivors trying to stay alive, and an EXE hunting them down. This guide covers both roles, how to earn badges, and what to watch for in seasonal events.

Two roles, two goals

Table
In short Knowing which side you are on shapes everything you do in a run.

Every match puts players into one of two roles. Survivors work to stay alive and stun the EXE, while the EXE's only job is to rack up kills. Up to 17 players can be in one room at a time.

Survivor basics

Tips
In short Stuns and revives are the two things that keep your team in the game.

As a Survivor, you have three tools to stun the EXE: the Arm Cannon, the Hammer Throw, and the Chaos Spear. Landing any of them from more than 150 studs away counts toward long-range badges. Reviving downed teammates is just as important as stunning — ten revives in a single run earns a badge, and 100 revives over your lifetime earns another.

Tips worth knowing
  • Use the Arm Cannon, Hammer Throw, or Chaos Spear to stun the EXE
  • Shots that connect from more than 150 studs away count toward long-range badge progress
  • Revive downed teammates — 10 revives in one run earns the Not on my watch! badge
  • When the EXE locks onto you, use an Escape to break out of the chase
  • Surviving a full hour in one run earns the "Why?" badge
03

Playing as the EXE

Step
In short Setting a kill target before each run keeps your badge progress moving.

The EXE role is straightforward: kill as many Survivors as you can before the run ends. The badge milestones are set at 50, 100, and 200 kills in a single run, and 1,000 kills total across all your runs.

  1. First run goal aim for 50 kills to unlock the Killing Spree badge
  2. Next milestone push to 100 kills in one run for the 100 KILLS badge
  3. High-score run reach 200 kills in one run for the 200 KILLS badge
  4. Lifetime grind track your total kills toward the 1,000-kill Blood Bath badge
04

Badge milestones worth planning for

Check
In short Most badges build up over many sessions, so knowing the thresholds helps you track progress.

There are 25 badges in total. Some reward a single impressive run, others accumulate over your entire time with the game.

  • Survivor stuns 100 lifetime stuns for Rookie, 1,000 lifetime stuns for Stun Fest
  • Revives 100 lifetime revives for the Team Player badge
  • Long-range stuns 100 lifetime hits from more than 150 studs for the Longshot badge
  • EXE kills 1,000 lifetime kills for the Blood Bath badge
  • Hourly survival last one full hour in a single run for the Why? badge
05

Limited-time event badges

Warn
In short Event badges disappear when the event ends, and there is no way to get them later.

Several badges are tied to specific dates or seasonal events. Simply being in the game during the event window is enough to earn them. Missing the window means missing the badge permanently.
