Your first session

Step
In short Running the built-in tutorial before anything else is the fastest way to learn the controls.

When you load in, the game drops you straight into the park. Do not touch the ride controls yet — spend two minutes with the tutorial first, then run one test cycle before you open the ride to guests.

  1. Open the tutorial press the '?' button on the left side of your screen and choose 'Start Up Tutorial'.
  2. Follow every step the guide walks you through powering on and checking the ride interactively.
  3. Run a test cycle dispatch the ride once with no guests to confirm everything is working.
  4. Open to guests once the test clears, let the queue in and begin operating.
  5. Check other tutorials the '?' menu has more topics you can revisit whenever you get stuck.

Why your dispatch is failing

Warn
In short Almost every blocked dispatch comes down to a gate, a restraint, or an occupied block ahead.

The ride will refuse to dispatch if any safety step is incomplete. Some attractions have a secondary panel that also needs a restraint confirmation before the main panel will respond.

Worth watching out for
Check that the platform gate is fully closed before attempting to dispatch.
Verify every restraint on the train is locked one open bar stops the whole ride.
If the ride has a secondary panel, complete the restraint check there as well.
Make sure the block section ahead of the station is clear some rides will not send a train into an occupied section.

Earning TXP and coins faster

Tips
In short Efficient dispatching and a clean park improve both your TXP gain and your coin income at the same time.

TXP comes from clean dispatches, high ride uptime, completed tasks, and satisfied guests. Coins come from correct operating procedures, picking up trash, and keeping guests happy — and are spent on new rides and decorations.

Tips worth knowing
  • Pick up trash around the park — a cleaner environment raises your coin income.
  • Maintain guest happiness; satisfied guests push both your TXP and coin earnings upward.

Rides, unlock requirements, and prices

Table
In short You need both the right rank and enough coins to add a ride — rank alone does not unlock it automatically.

Common questions

FAQ

What should I do if I have no idea how to operate a ride?

Press the '?' button on the left of your screen and choose 'Start Up Tutorial' for whichever ride you are on. The tutorial is interactive, so it walks you through each step in order. You can also revisit individual tutorial topics from the same menu later.

Do I lose my rank if I stop playing for a while?

No — ranks are permanent once earned and cannot be lost.

Does reaching a new rank automatically unlock rides for me?

Not quite. Reaching the required rank makes the ride available to purchase, but you still need enough coins to buy it. Both conditions must be met.

What does the Experienced Operator gamepass actually do?

It is a purchasable status outside the normal rank system that doubles your coin and XP earnings, improves your daily rewards, and gives you access to exclusive servers and early ride previews. It does not skip you past any standard rank requirements.

Where can I find more codes beyond the ones listed on this page?

Coaster Studio content creators on YouTube and social media sometimes share personal codes that reward extra coins.
