Where beginners should start

Guide

01 How the game works The core loop is simple: mine ores, smelt them into ingots, craft better pickaxes, and use the new pickaxe to reach caves you couldn't before.
02 Ore progression from copper to emerald Each ore tier requires a specific pickaxe to mine, so you have to work through the chain in order.
03 Cave entrances and what is inside them The six named entrances at spawn each lead to a different family of caves.
04 Surviving the Geothermal Caves The thermal suit is not optional past the second lava bridge — without it, the heat kills you even before the lava does.
