This guide walks you through getting started, picking up jobs, handling the police, and making the most of what the game offers without spending Robux.

01

First steps when you spawn in

Step
In short Take a few minutes to drive around before committing to a job, and you will navigate the city far more confidently.

You appear in the middle of the city as soon as the game loads. Before you chase any job, drive around the streets to get a feel for how the roads connect. When the vehicle selection screen appears, pick a taxi or one of the emergency service vehicles — both are straightforward enough to teach you the controls quickly.

  1. Drive the streets spend a couple of minutes just moving around so the city layout starts to feel familiar.
  2. Pick your first vehicle a taxi is the easiest entry point because the job rules are simple.
  3. Practice the controls get used to accelerating, braking, turning, and moving the camera before taking on passengers.
  4. Talk to NPCs approach them to understand what a job asks you to do before you accept it.

How taxi jobs work

Step
In short Taxi work is the fastest way to build up rewards early on, and those rewards unlock everything else.

Taxi jobs follow a clear loop: find a waiting passenger, pick them up, drive to the destination shown on the map, and drop them off to collect your reward. The map marks where you need to go, so you are never left guessing. Repeating this loop is how you save up enough to unlock buses, emergency vehicles, and other cars.

  1. Find a taxi stand head to one of the pickup spots in the city where NPC passengers are waiting.
  2. Pick up the passenger pull up close and get them into the vehicle.
  3. Follow the map the destination is marked, so watch it as you drive.
  4. Drop off and collect stop at the destination, let the passenger out, and receive your reward.
  5. Repeat to save up stack those rewards across multiple runs to unlock new vehicle types.
03

The different jobs and what sets them apart

Table
In short Every job pays, so choose the one whose style of play appeals to you.

The game offers several distinct ways to earn rewards and have fun. None of them locks you out of the others, so you can switch any time you like.

Taxipick up individual NPC passengers and deliver them across the city; simple rules, good for beginners.
Double-decker busfollow a fixed route, stop at multiple bus stops, and keep to a schedule.
Emergency servicesdrive an ambulance or fire engine to incident locations as fast as possible.
Street racingcompete against other players in organised races around the city.
Free roamno job, no schedule; explore Birmingham on your own terms.
04

Wanted levels and the police

Warn
In short If you break the law, act quickly — the longer you wait, the harder getting away becomes.

Breaking the law triggers a wanted level shown on your screen, and the police respond dynamically to it. As that level climbs, more officers join the pursuit. You can work it back down by either staying out of sight long enough or putting enough distance between yourself and the cops. If you would rather not deal with any of this, staying on the right side of the law keeps the police off your back entirely.

Worth watching out for
A rising wanted level brings more police.
Fleeing and hiding are more effective than confronting officers directly.
Keeping out of sight long enough will bring the wanted level back down.
Playing within the law means the police never come after you at all.
05

Vehicle customisation

Tips
In short Wraps change how your vehicle looks but have no effect on how it drives, so customise purely for fun.

Once you have saved up enough in-game rewards, you can apply wraps to your vehicles — custom colours and designs that make them stand out when other players see them. Performance stays exactly the same regardless of what wrap you choose. You can give different vehicles different designs.

Tips worth knowing
  • Wraps are purely cosmetic and do not affect speed, handling, or any other stat.
  • You can earn wraps through in-game rewards as well as purchasing them in the shop.
  • Each vehicle you own can carry its own separate design.
06

Playing without spending Robux

Check
In short Everything you need to progress — vehicles, unlocks, and cosmetics — is available through in-game rewards alone.

The base vehicles are available from the start, and new ones unlock as your rewards accumulate from jobs. Customisation options are also reachable without spending real money.

  • Base vehicles are free from the beginning.
  • New vehicles unlock through accumulated rewards.
  • Wraps are reachable using in-game rewards.
  • Three redeem codes were active as of September 28, 2026 check the codes section of this page to claim them.
07

When something goes wrong

Check
In short Most problems in the game come down to the map, the controls, or your position relative to an NPC — run through these checks before giving up.
  • Recheck the map confirm you are heading toward the marker, not away from it.
  • Review your control setup if the vehicle is not responding correctly, look at your key or button bindings.
  • Reset the vehicle cancel the current job, return the vehicle, and start fresh.
  • Get closer to the NPC step out of the vehicle and walk up until the interaction prompt appears.
  • Check your connection a slow or unstable connection can cause the game to lag or behave oddly.
