Overview

Nitro Car (Mining Area Spain) is a casual driving game where you cruise around five maps at your own pace, boosting with nitrous whenever you feel like it. There are no races to win — just open roads, a garage of cars to try, and plenty of engine noise.

First steps when you load in

Step
In short Pick a map, grab a car, sort your controls, and start driving — that's the whole setup.

When the game loads you'll be asked to choose one of the five maps before you spawn. A car selection screen follows, so don't stress about picking perfectly the first time — you can switch later. Before you head out, decide which steering style suits you, then just drive around until the controls feel natural.

  1. Choose a map pick any of the five to start; you can visit the others later.
  2. Pick a car try a couple before committing, since you're free to swap at any time.
  3. Set your steering UI choose between Steering Button UI and Steering Wheel UI.
  4. Drive freely spend a few minutes just getting used to how your car handles on that map.

Steering UI options compared

Table
In short Both control styles work fine, so choose the one that feels more natural to you and change it whenever you want.

The game lets you switch between two different ways to steer. Steering Button UI uses standard button inputs. Steering Wheel UI mimics the feeling of turning an actual wheel.

Throttle volume and other settings

Check
In short The throttle volume system lets you dial the engine sound up or down.

A throttle volume system was added in the most recent update, letting you control how loud the engine and acceleration sounds are.

  • Raise the volume if you want realistic engine sounds during acceleration.
  • Lower it if you'd rather keep things quieter.

Roblox Plus and what you miss without it

Warn
In short All five maps and most cars are available without Roblox Plus — the membership adds one exclusive car, not access to core content.

The game is free to play. Roblox Plus members receive one exclusive car at no extra cost, but non-members can still choose from the regular selection and drive every map.

Worth watching out for
Roblox Plus members get one free exclusive car that's the only difference.
Non-members still have access to multiple cars and the full map roster.

Common questions

FAQ

Is this a racing game with opponents?

No — the focus is on free driving rather than competition. You cruise the maps at your own pace and use the nitrous whenever you feel like it, with no race to win or timer to beat.

Do I need Roblox Plus to enjoy the game properly?

No. Roblox Plus members receive one exclusive car as a bonus, but that's the only thing non-members miss out on.

How many maps are there, and are they all different?

There are five maps, all set in the Mining Area Spain environment, built using photogrammetry from real locations.
