Helicity — Core tools for chasing storms
About
OverviewHelicity is a storm chasing game set in the central plains where your job is to track and study tornadoes, thunderstorms, lightning, and hail. You can go deep into the data with radar scans, weather probes, and a Tornado Intercept Vehicle, or just pull back and watch the storms roll in. This guide covers the core tools, vehicle variants, badges, and a few things to watch out for before you play.

Core tools for chasing storms
TableHelicity gives you three main tools for studying weather events. Radar scanning lets you detect where storms are and what they are doing. Weather probes are deployed on the ground to collect local data from inside or near a storm. The T.I.V — Tornado Intercept Vehicle — puts you directly in the path of a tornado for close-range observation. Beyond all of that, simply watching the storms is treated as a legitimate goal in its own right.
| Radar scan | detects storm positions and feeds you weather information in real time |
| Weather probe | a deployable instrument you place on location to gather ground-level data |
| T.I.V | a specialized vehicle built for driving straight into a tornado |
| Storm observation | admiring the weather events without any tools counts as a secondary objective |
Vehicle variants and their badges
StepWhen you spawn into a session you choose a vehicle variant, and each one unlocks a badge the moment you appear in it. There are five variants you can earn badges for right now.

Three badges you cannot earn right now
