- Watch for Barry listen for audio cues and check any on-screen indicators that show Barry is getting close.
- Find a hiding spot look for boxes, rooms, or any corner that keeps you out of Barry's line of sight.
- Wait for a gap stay put until Barry moves away, then quickly head to your next safe location.
- Share information if you are playing with friends, tell them where Barry is so everyone can adjust at once.

Reading the prison layout
TipsThe prison has corridors Barry regularly passes through as well as rooms and blind spots where you can crouch out of sight. The more rounds you play, the better you will read the layout.
- Avoid open hallways where Barry can spot you from a distance.
- Prioritise hiding spots that have more than one exit so you are never completely cornered.
- Blind spots — places Barry cannot see from his usual route — are your best friends in this game.
Playing with friends vs. playing solo
TableYou can start a round on your own or bring a group.
| Solo play | forces you to track Barry entirely by yourself, so every mistake is yours to fix. |
| Group play | lets you split up and call out Barry's position, raising everyone's chances of surviving. |
| Information sharing | only possible with friends; a group that communicates will outlast one that does not. |
