01

What you are doing in this game

Summary
In short Surviving means keeping distance from the killers, finding cover, and escaping the stage.

Kuriko Test drops you into a horror world built around an AI test theme. Your only goals are to avoid the killers, stay hidden when you need to, and clear the stage to win. Getting caught means game over, so every decision you make is about staying one step ahead.

  • Running put as much space as possible between you and any killer chasing you
  • Hiding find spots like under desks or in dark corners where killers will not spot you
  • Escaping clearing the stage is the win condition, so always keep that endpoint in mind

First steps when a round begins

Step
In short Before the killers are active, use that time to learn the layout so you are never caught flat-footed.

The moments right after a round starts are your best chance to prepare. The killers are not on top of you yet, so move quickly and deliberately to scout the space rather than standing still and panicking.

  1. Read the room walk the full space to get a mental picture of where walls, doors, and passages are
  2. Find your hiding spots note specific locations like shadowed corners or furniture you can duck behind
  3. Trace the exits follow each door and corridor to see where it leads before you need to sprint through it
03

Killers you will face

Tips
In short Each killer moves and behaves differently, so knowing who is near changes how you should react.

Multiple killers can be active at the same time, and each one is its own threat. Jeff the Killer, two Crawling Girls, Kuriko and her twin, and Smiling Girls are among the characters hunting you. Tracking sounds and movement clues tells you where danger is coming from before it reaches you.

Tips worth knowing
  • Several killers can close in on you simultaneously, so never assume only one is nearby
  • Listen for audio cues and watch for motion to guess where a killer is heading
04

When you keep getting caught

Check
In short If you are dying repeatedly, small changes to your timing and routes almost always fix the problem.

Run through this list after a bad streak and change one thing at a time until your runs improve.

  • Are you moving before danger arrives, or waiting too long to react?
  • Do you have more than one escape route planned, or are you relying on a single path?
  • Have you tried a different hiding spot instead of returning to the same one every round?
  • Are you adjusting your timing, or running on the same schedule the killer already knows?
05

Playing with others

Warn
In short Up to 15 players share the same map, so crowding and overlap can hurt everyone's chances.

Kuriko Test supports up to 15 players in one session. More people can mean more chaos, and that chaos can get you caught if you are not careful about how you move relative to your fellow survivors.

Worth watching out for
Do not crowd a single hiding spot
Avoid following the same escape route as a large group, since bottlenecks draw killers straight to you
