Overview

Escape The Carnival of Horror Obby is a stage-clearing game where you are trapped inside an abandoned carnival and must fight your way out past deadly traps, puzzles, and an evil clown hunting you down. Up to twelve players can tackle the same stage together.

How the game is built

Summary

In short The game mixes platforming, puzzle-solving, and clown-chasing across a series of rooms you clear one by one.

Each run takes you through multiple rooms in sequence. To finish, you need to reach the final exit. Along the way the game throws three different kinds of challenges at you.

Platforming sections　jumping and climbing obstacles that demand timing and distance judgment
Puzzle sections　rooms where you search for clues and figure out how to open the path forward
Chase sections　stretches where the evil clown is after you and you need to move fast and smart
Goal　survive every room and reach the escape at the far end

In short Dying sends you back to the start of that room, so understanding exactly what went wrong is the fastest way to move on.

When you die you restart at the beginning of the room you were in. Use that reset as a free look at what caught you.

Worth watching out for

Falling is the most common cause of death always check what is below you before stepping onto a new platform

Environmental hazards such as electricity and fire will kill you on contact, so treat anything that looks dangerous as something you cannot touch

Getting caught by the clown ends your run in that section if he shows up, finding the exit matters more than going fast

After you die, identify the exact thing that stopped you before you try again

Glossary

Obby: Short for obstacle course — a Roblox game type where you clear a series of increasingly difficult platforming stages.
Chase section: A part of the game where the evil clown actively pursues you and you must navigate to safety before he catches you.
Environmental hazard: A trap built into the stage itself — such as electricity or fire — that kills you on contact.

What happens when I die?

You are sent back to the start of the room you were in. Before you try again, take a moment to work out what killed you — falling, a hazard, or the clown — so you can handle it differently on the next attempt.

Is it better to play alone or with friends?

Both work fine. With friends you can share solutions to puzzles and support each other through hard sections. Alone, you set your own pace and work everything out yourself.

Do more levels get added over time?

The game page says that likes and favorites help bring more levels into the game, so the stage count can grow after updates.
