About

Overview

Threadville drops you into a puppet world after a magic mirror pulls you in, and something in that world wants to keep you there. This guide walks you through Act 1 from the attic to Oliver's cellar, covers every item you can collect, explains the lobby shop, and tells you how to chase down the hardest badges.

Act 1 from start to finish

Step
In short Act 1 splits cleanly into a daytime exploration half and a nighttime survival half.

You begin in the real world, helping your grandma find her sewing machine in the attic. After that, every phase flows directly into the next.

  1. Search the attic Check the boxes on the metal shelves. If you haven't found the right one within 45 seconds, a soft blue glow appears around it.
  2. Fall into Threadville The mirror pulls you through. You land on Veena's table in the hedge maze, breaking it.
  3. Collect honey jars Rocky is asleep at the only exit. Fill jars at the beehives around the maze while avoiding bees, then bring them to Rocky as a peace offering so he wakes up and unlocks the gate.
  4. Use your 7 minutes in town Once inside Threadville, you have 7 minutes before dusk. Explore, talk to residents, and complete minigames to earn items. None of this is required, but the rewards make the night far easier.
  5. Restore the power At night, Rocky changes. Find fuses scattered around town and use them to repair the power box near the library.
  6. Deal with Worm Get into Pierre's Market using the code from the hopscotch game. Worm is inside. He sends you after apples, then dirt, before you lose patience and dunk him. He finally reveals that Rocky keeps the gate key in his back pocket.
  7. Grab the key with a fish Collect picture pieces in the treehouse to crack the lunchbox code, take the fish inside, and place it outside to distract Rocky. Grab the key from his pocket while he eats.
  8. Escape through the cellar Oliver rushes you into his cellar. Rocky finds another way in and chases you past barrels and acid until Oliver stops him with a shovel, letting you break free.

Daytime minigame rewards

Table
In short All three daytime items last the entire run. If you respawn at any point during the night, the stamina and speed boosts from the carrot and tea stop working — the camera keeps functioning regardless.

Each resident runs one minigame during the 7-minute daytime window. Clear their challenge to earn an item.

ResidentWhat you must doItem earnedWhat it does
CharlotteScore at least 2 points in her gameCameraTrack Rocky or flash him to stun him; 3 uses total
OliverMatch all root vegetables within the turn limitCarrotEat it for a large stamina boost that lasts the whole game
VeenaStop ants from reaching the honey in the jarTeaDrink it for a small but permanent speed boost for the whole game

Pierre's lobby shop

Table

Pierre sells consumables from his Park-it Market in the lobby, purchased with Buttons. Stock refreshes every 24 hours. Unlike the items you earn from daytime minigames, shop items have limited uses and wear off.

Coffee (10 Buttons)Gives unlimited stamina for 60 seconds; the cheapest item in the shop
Cupcake (15 Buttons)Doubles your movement speed for 10 seconds
Puppet Heart (35 Buttons)Revives a fallen teammate; cannot be used on yourself
04

Badges and how to earn them

Check

There are five badges in total. One unlocks the moment you launch the game; the others require specific actions during Act 1.

  • Welcome to Threadville! Granted automatically the first time you play.
  • ...What happens now? Beat Act 1 once.
  • Dog Trainer Beat Act 1 without dying even once.
  • Don't Panic Scream in-game for around 30 seconds continuously.
  • Start Panicking This badge is no longer obtainable; the trigger for it was removed on September 20, 2025.
05

Collectibles and story pages

Tips

Threadville has two types of extras to hunt across Act 1: lore pages and tarot-style collectible cards.

Tips worth knowing
  • Pages are hidden around specific spots — behind crates near Oliver's farm, on the wall behind a beehive, behind a barrel in Pierre's shop corner, under Veena's honey-jar table, in the back wall of the library, under a bench in the fishing shack, and on the dresser inside Patty-Ann's house.
  • Collectible cards drop from beating Act 1 and you receive a different one each time, so repeat runs are worth it if you want the full set.
06

Customizing your puppet

Tips

The lobby lets you dress your puppet avatar with over 70 listed accessories. Everything here is visual only — nothing changes how you play.

Tips worth knowing
  • Many accessories cost Buttons, the same currency used at Pierre's shop.
  • Oliver's Hat is earned by completing Act 1, making it the only accessory tied to a badge rather than a purchase.
  • Some items, like the Veena Pack pieces, cost Robux rather than Buttons and are bought separately.
07

Threadville World: the roleplay mode

Summary

Threadville World launched on September 20, 2025, as an expansion. It recreates the town as a roleplay space with shops and a day-night cycle, and it runs events on a regular timer.

  • Events Timed occurrences shown on a fountain timer; each event is 35 minutes apart and lasts 1 minute
  • Fireflies event The only event as of October 24, 2025; a group of small yellow lights that drift from the fountain to behind Patty-Ann's house and back, awarding Buttons
  • Shops Hot Off The Press (coffee shop), Pierre's Market, Bolt 'N Bobbin (furniture), Buttoned Up (fashion), Stitch & Snuggle Co., and Thread & Butter (bakery)

Common questions

FAQ

Can I skip the daytime minigames and still beat Act 1?

Yes — all three minigames are optional and the act can be finished without them.

How do I use the camera against Rocky?

The camera can be used to track Rocky or as a stun towards him. You only have three flashes total.

Does the Cupcake from Pierre's shop work like the tea speed boost?

No — the tea gives a small speed boost that lasts for the whole game, while the cupcake doubles your speed for only 10 seconds before wearing off.
