How a match plays out

Step

In short Each wave follows the same loop: grab a weapon, fight zombies, collect resources, then upgrade before the next wave hits.

When the game starts, zombies appear around the base and immediately push toward it. Your job is to keep them out while surviving each wave. Between waves you have a short window to reload, reposition, and spend any resources you collected.

Pick up a weapon guns are placed inside the base at the start, so grab one before the first wave arrives.
Shoot incoming zombies stay near the base and target enemies as they close in.
Collect resources defeated zombies drop resources; walk over them before the next wave begins.
Upgrade between waves spend resources to improve your weapon's firepower or ammo capacity.

Using vehicles to your advantage

Tips

In short Vehicles are powerful tools, but they take damage themselves.

Cars and rockets are parked at fixed spots inside the base. Each type handles differently against zombies. Because vehicles absorb damage, it pays to get out and fight on foot when the pressure is low.

Tips worth knowing

Drive a car straight into a crowd to knock out several zombies in one go.
Use rockets to attack from a new angle or to reach parts of the map quickly.

Splitting up in co-op

In short Spreading players across multiple entrances stops zombies from pouring in through an unguarded gap.

The base has several entry points, and zombies will find the ones nobody is watching. Before the first wave, agree with your team on who covers which door or side.

Know every entrance walk the base perimeter at the start so you do not get surprised from behind.
Assign positions before wave one, matching each player to a specific side or door.
Share ammo and health items with teammates nearby.
If a teammate is getting overwhelmed, run over and draw some of the zombies onto yourself.

What to check when you keep dying

In short Later waves are much harder than early ones, so falling behind on upgrades or ignoring a busy entrance will get you killed.

Worth watching out for

Check your upgrade level if enemies feel like bullet sponges, spend any saved resources on firepower before the next wave.

Identify the hot entrance if zombies keep streaming in from the same place, that spot needs a dedicated defender.

Find health items before you need them, not while you are already taking damage.

Glossary

Wave: A single round of zombie attacks; once every zombie in a wave is defeated, a new wave begins with stronger enemies.
Resources: Rewards dropped by defeated zombies that you spend to upgrade weapons or unlock new defensive options.
Upgrade: Spending resources to increase a weapon's damage or ammo so it keeps pace with tougher waves.
