Core controls to learn first
CheckEvery move in Bloody Playground comes from a small set of keys, so learning them one at a time is the fastest way to get comfortable.
- Left Shift held sprint to move faster
- Q kick forward
- F stomp down on a grounded target
- G grab an enemy or object, then hold or throw it
- V drag something along the ground
- R block an incoming attack, or reload if you are carrying a weapon
Combo moves and how to pull them off
StepThe game's most satisfying moves come from pressing keys at the same moment rather than one after another.
- Drop kick sprint, then jump and press Q at the same time to launch forward with a flying kick
- Back kick walk backwards and press Q to send a kick behind you without turning around
- Air stomp jump and press F while airborne to slam down on whatever is below you
- Grab and throw press G on an enemy or object, keep holding to carry it, or release to hurl it
Shift lock and VR options
TipsTwo settings sit outside the main combat controls but affect how everything else feels. Shift lock changes how your camera and aim work, and VR support means you can play with a headset and controllers instead of a keyboard entirely.
- Press Left Control to toggle shift lock
- VR controllers replicate the same inputs as the keyboard, so all moves remain available

Common questions
FAQCan I play Bloody Playground with a VR headset?
Yes, the game supports VR. Your controllers replace the keyboard, and every move that exists on keyboard is available through the VR inputs.
Is there anything locked behind payment or a pass?
There is no payment system in Bloody Playground. Every control and every move is available to all players from the moment they join, with nothing gated or restricted.
Why does my drop kick keep failing?
The drop kick needs sprint, jump, and Q to connect at almost the same instant. Try it slowly a few times — get the sprint going, jump, and then press Q just as you leave the ground.
