How the game is structured

Summary
In short The game moves through a series of chapters, each with checkpoints, leading toward a final boss and one of several possible endings.

You follow the story chapter by chapter, fighting bosses as you go. Checkpoints mark your progress inside each chapter. At certain moments the story branches depending on the choice you make, so two playthroughs can end differently. Up to twenty players can share one server, but you can also finish the whole thing solo.

  • Story follow the trail of the new noob ruler across multiple chapters
  • Checkpoints scattered through each chapter
  • Boss fights appear at points throughout the story
  • Endings your choices during the game decide which ending you see
  • Co-op up to twenty players in one server, or go it alone

Flawless runs: how each chapter's badge works

Step
In short Each flawless badge has a slightly different rule, so check the condition before you attempt a clean run.

Four chapters have their own flawless badge, and the rules are not identical across all of them. Chapter Two requires you to complete the whole chapter without ever being sent back to a checkpoint. Chapters Three, Four, and Five each require you to get through without dying at all.

  1. Chapter Two reach the end without being sent back to any checkpoint at any point
  2. Chapter Three clear the entire chapter without dying once
  3. Chapter Four clear the entire chapter without dying once
  4. Chapter Five clear the entire chapter without dying once
03

The Mercy or Monster choice

Warn
In short You can only earn one of these two badges per playthrough, so plan ahead if you want both.

At one point in the story you face a decision that locks you into either the Mercy badge or the Monster badge — you cannot get both in the same run. If you want to collect all badges, you will need at least two full playthroughs.

Worth watching out for
Picking Mercy locks you out of Monster for that run, and vice versa
Both badges are kept permanently, so there is no pressure to get them both at once
04

Vehicle and action sections

Tips
In short Each vehicle section has its own challenge, and the dock section has a hard limit on how many times you can collide.

Several sections of the game take you out of standard on-foot play and put you in control of a vehicle or moving platform.

Tips worth knowing
  • The dock sailing section requires you to travel from start to finish with five collisions or fewer — hitting things more than that costs you the badge
  • The surfing section puts you at height, so be ready for a long drop if you fall
  • The car section has you driving through a gate to escape
05

Hidden secrets worth hunting

Check
In short There are three distinct hidden-item goals, and only one of them depends entirely on other players.

The game hides several collectibles and secrets across its maps. Two of them you can chase on your own terms; the third requires luck with server timing.

  • Find all six hidden noobs scattered through the map to earn the Hidden Noobs badge
  • Track down the single small blue teapot hidden somewhere in the map
06

Other badges worth knowing about

Tips
In short Several badges tied to specific actions are easy to miss if you are just following the main story.

Beyond the flawless runs and hidden items, a handful of badges reward particular behaviour during the story.

Tips worth knowing
  • A world record badge exists for players who set a record in the game
  • The THAT Guy badge rewards an action the game itself calls unpopular
  • The Intuitive Investigation badge is earned simply by walking through a front door
  • Some badges are tied to finding items like the lost bag of Tix or the lone blue teapot, which reward thorough exploration rather than story progress

Glossary

Glossary
Noob
Roblox slang for a new or unskilled player; in this game it is also the name for the enemy faction you are fighting.
King Noob
The villain from the original game whose defeat eight years before this story begins sets up the whole plot.
Checkpoint
A saved position inside a chapter that you return to when you die — hitting one counts against you in the Chapter Two flawless badge.
Flawless run
A chapter cleared either without dying or without being sent back to a checkpoint, depending on which chapter it is.
Multiple endings
The game has more than one possible conclusion, determined by choices you make during the story.
Teapot Factory
A server-wide counter that climbs as players interact with it; reaching 1337 while you are in the server earns a badge.

Common questions

FAQ

Can I finish the game by myself?

Yes, the whole story is completable solo. Bringing friends along lets you tackle boss fights together, but nothing in the game requires a group.

How many playthroughs do I need to collect every badge?

At minimum two, because the Mercy and Monster badges are mutually exclusive and you can only earn one per run.

What happens if I die during a flawless run attempt?

For Chapters Three, Four, and Five, dying ends your attempt for that chapter and you will need to start the chapter over. For Chapter Two, being sent back to a checkpoint ends the attempt even if you do not die outright.
