Choosing your first class

Table
In short All three starter classes are viable, so pick the style that sounds most fun to you.

When you first start, you choose one of three starter classes. You can unlock more classes later and switch between them freely, so this choice is not permanent. Each class plays very differently, so it helps to know what you are signing up for.

Swordmastera close-range fighter that attacks with two blades, recommended for beginners
Arcane Magea spellcaster that deals heavy damage from a distance, good for players who prefer ranged play
Defendera high-health tank that is hard to kill, suited for players who want to protect their team

Basic controls to know before you start

Check
In short Getting comfortable with the controls early makes every dungeon run easier.

The core controls are shared across all classes. On mobile, virtual sticks and on-screen buttons cover the same actions.

  • Movement uses WASD on keyboard, or the virtual stick on mobile
  • Basic attack is left-click on keyboard, or the attack button on mobile
  • Skills are bound to Q, E, R, and F
  • Dodge is Ctrl or C
  • Talk to NPCs marked with a yellow exclamation mark to pick up quests

How worlds and dungeons are structured

Summary
In short There are eight main worlds plus two tower challenges, and you clear them in order by defeating each world's final boss.

The game is built around eight worlds, each with its own dungeons and a final boss. Beating that final boss is what marks a world complete. On top of those eight worlds, two special towers — the Prison Tower in World 5 and the Atlantis Tower in World 6 — offer their own final bosses and separate completion badges. You enter dungeons either through the Dungeons menu or through gates on the map, and the game will automatically match you with other players if you do not have a full group.

Worlds cleared World 1 through World 8, each with a final boss to defeat
Prison Tower a bonus challenge found inside World 5
Atlantis Tower a bonus challenge found inside World 6
Matchmaking automatic, so you can join a dungeon run without pre-made friends

Leveling up your class over time

Step
In short Classes unlock in tiers as you level up, with prestige opening the final tier after you reach the level cap.

Your class grows through five tiers, and each tier unlocks at a higher level. After you reach the level cap, you can prestige, which resets your level to one but grants stat bonuses and opens Tier 5 classes. Mastery classes are a further evolution available when you meet specific in-game conditions, such as defeating large numbers of enemies. Because you can learn multiple classes on one character and swap between them freely, there is no wrong path to start on.

  1. Reach level 15 unlock Tier 2 classes
  2. Reach level 35 unlock Tier 3 classes
  3. Reach level 60 unlock Tier 4 classes
  4. Hit the level cap prestige to reset your level, gain stat bonuses, and unlock Tier 5 classes
  5. Meet mastery conditions evolve into a Mastery class, the most powerful tier available
06

Pets and equipment

Tips
In short Equipping a pet and keeping your gear current are two of the easiest ways to stay competitive.

Enemies on the field can drop eggs when defeated. Hatching an egg gives you a pet, and pets fight alongside you in battle. Gear drops from dungeons and needs to be swapped out regularly, especially when you enter a new world.

Tips worth knowing
  • Hatch any egg you pick up — the pet inside boosts your stats and joins you in combat
  • Open your menu and equip the pet after you hatch it, otherwise it does nothing for you
  • Replace your weapons and armor each time you move into a new world, since old gear falls behind quickly
07

When you keep losing — things to check

Warn
In short Most dungeon failures come down to being underleveled, missing an equipped pet, or skipping your dodge.

If a dungeon is wiping your group repeatedly, the problem is almost always one of a handful of fixable things. Check these before assuming the dungeon is just too hard.

Worth watching out for
Check the recommended level before entering fighting below it puts you at a severe disadvantage
Confirm your pet is actually equipped in the menu, not just hatched and sitting idle
Use your dodge frequently during boss attacks rather than standing still and taking the hit
Use skills Q, E, and R during openings in the boss's attack pattern rather than mashing them constantly
If no one in the party is tanking, step up and draw enemy attention so your teammates can deal damage safely
08

Free rewards and redeem codes

Step
In short Redeem codes through the in-game menu and grab the free bonuses for favoriting the game and joining the official group.

The game has a working redeem code available right now. Crystals you earn from codes are useful for free-to-play players. Two other free bonuses cost nothing at all: favoriting the game and joining the official World // Zero group on Roblox both unlock exclusive in-game rewards.

  1. Open the menu find the Codes or Twitter icon on the main screen
  2. Type the code match uppercase and lowercase exactly or it will not work
  3. Claim the crystals they go straight to your account
  4. Favorite the game on its Roblox page triggers a separate in-game reward
  5. Join the official World // Zero Roblox group gives you additional exclusive benefits

Common questions

FAQ

Can I play through dungeons without friends?

Yes — dungeons have automatic matchmaking that pairs you with other players when you enter, so you never have to show up with a pre-made group.

Can free-to-play players access everything important?

Class unlocks and pets are both achievable through normal gameplay — leveling up, completing objectives, and hatching egg drops. Paid options center on cosmetics like skins and outfits, and on speeding up certain unlocks, so they do not block you from clearing any content.

What happens to my progress when I prestige?

Your level resets to one, but you keep the stat bonuses earned through prestige and gain access to Tier 5 classes.

Can I change my class after choosing it at the start?

Yes, you can switch classes freely at any time and learn multiple classes on the same character.
