About

Overview

Bathwick Town is a UK bus and tram simulator on Roblox where you pick a vehicle, choose a livery, and drive one of 69 bus routes or 6 tram lines around a detailed British town. This guide covers how to get started, how to pick your vehicle, how to work toward badges, and what the route network looks like.

Getting started in Bathwick Town

Step
In short The first thing you do is pick a vehicle, choose a livery, and head out onto one of the routes.

When you load in, you are presented with a vehicle selector. From there you choose a bus or tram and then pick a livery — a paint scheme based on real UK operators. Once you confirm your selection, you spawn on the map and can begin driving any route you like.

  1. Browse the list of 68 bus types available in the game.
  2. 55 of the 68 buses cost nothing to drive, so you have a wide choice without spending Robux.
  3. Most vehicles come with several different paint schemes from real UK operators.
  4. There are 69 bus routes and 6 tram lines available.
  5. Play on a computer if you can the developers advise it for the best experience.

Free vehicles versus gamepass vehicles

Table
In short The free selection is large enough that you can play for a long time without buying anything.

Most of what the game offers is unlocked by default. Only a small number of buses require a gamepass, and trams follow a similar split — some are free, some are paid.

Free buses55 out of 68 bus types, available from the start.
Paid busesthe remaining 13 types, unlocked with a gamepass.
Free tramssome tram lines are drivable without paying.
Paid tramsa portion of the tram selection does require a gamepass.
Liveriesadditional paint schemes come with each vehicle at no extra cost.
03

The route network

Tips
In short With 69 bus routes and 6 tram lines, there is plenty of ground to cover regardless of which vehicle you choose.

Routes connect major stops across the map, from Somerset Airport to Arnold Interchange, Crescent Grove, Metrocentre Park, and many more. Tram lines run on both lower-floor and upper-floor tracks. Staff shuttles and special routes also appear in the selector but are separate from the numbered lines.

Tips worth knowing
  • There are 62 numbered bus routes and 7 staff shuttle, custom, or special routes, making 69 in total.
  • Tram lines split into 5 lower-floor routes and 1 upper-floor line connecting Arnold Square to Somerset Airport.
  • Prop vehicles — a static derelict bendy bus, old railbuses, parked airliners, and an airport bus — appear on the map as scenery and can make navigation trickier in tight spots.

Common questions

FAQ

Do I need to spend Robux to enjoy Bathwick Town?

No. Fifty-five of the 68 bus types are completely free, and some tram lines are free as well. You can drive 69 different bus routes without spending anything. The 13 paid buses and some trams are optional extras.

What is the best device to play on?

The developers advise playing on a computer for the best experience.

How do I unlock badges?

Drive the specific vehicle and livery listed for a badge. The badge unlocks automatically. All 25 badges are achievable without a gamepass.

What are prop vehicles and do they affect driving?

Prop vehicles are non-drivable models placed around the map — things like a derelict bendy bus, old railbuses, and parked airliners. You cannot interact with them, but some narrow the road or clutter busy areas like Somerset Airport.

How many tram lines are there, and are they all free?

There are 6 tram lines in total — 5 lower-floor routes and 1 upper-floor line. Some tram lines are free to drive and some require a gamepass.
