Starting with the Tutorial

The Tutorial is the fastest way to get a grip on every core mechanic before you touch any other mode.
The Tutorial is a solo mission set in London on March 3, 2024, where you play as an Authorised Firearms Officer chasing a suspect through an apartment building. Along the way you practice movement, shooting, breaching doors, and healing. Finishing it also sets up the story reason why the rest of the game takes place on Ronograd Island.
- Chase the suspect follow them through the courtyard into the apartment building.
- Lockpick the entrance picking the lock keeps you out of the line of fire, unlike kicking it down.
- Clear each floor breach doors and deal with armed criminals on floors one through three.
- React to the machete rush on the first floor a criminal charges you the moment you kick that door open.
- Crawl through the kitchen after the third floor, a machine gunner pins you down through the window; staying low is the only way out.
- Survive the courtyard friendly officers arrive, but you still need to help clear the remaining criminals before you can leave.

Playing Capture the Objective

Understanding the capture mechanic and map layout will win you more rounds than raw aim alone.
Each game of Capture the Objective runs up to five matches, and the first team to win three takes the game. Every match lasts 90 seconds, but that timer pauses the moment an attacker stands near the objective and starts capturing it. The capture takes about 10 seconds, and progress saves even if the attacker briefly moves away, so defenders need to push the attacker off rather than just wait out the clock.
Tips worth knowing
- Most maps are close-quarters, so sniper rifles and DMRs are harder to use effectively here.
- Bring night-vision equipment because matches can take place at any in-game time of day.
- If only one defender remains, start capturing the objective to force them out of hiding.
- Blue team defends first and red team attacks; roles swap at the start of each new game.
