Casual mode at a glance
Check
Casual is the mode you land in by default when you join Counter Blox. It runs up to 14 players on one server, and the first team to win 8 rounds takes the match.
- Teammates cannot boost each other collision between allies is off.
- Friendly fire is off grenades from your own team will not hurt you.
- Dead players can spectate opponents and use a free camera, but their chat is only visible to other dead players and spectators.
- Winning a match pays 20 coins; losing pays 15 both amounts are capped.
- Round time is one minute and forty-five seconds.
- Players start with a Defuse Kit and Kevlar with Helmet without needing to buy them.
- Buy time is 45 seconds; players cannot move for the first 5 seconds of the buy phase.
- The ability to see opponents' money is enabled.
Trading hangout basics
TipsTrading is a dedicated area where players swap skins with each other. To enter, you need a minimum inventory value of 100 in skins. The hangout has its own currency called Bankey, which you earn by selling skins, playing the game, or finishing one of three obstacle courses ranked Easy, Medium, and Hard. Higher-difficulty courses pay out more Bankey.
- Entry requirement — at least 100 value in skins is needed to join the Trading hangout
- Bankey — the Trading currency earned through skin sales, gameplay, or completing the obby courses
- Obby difficulty — Easy, Medium, and Hard courses each pay a different amount of Bankey
- 67 Creature event — active since December 25, 2025; the creature selects 25% of random players and gives them knife pieces, requiring at least 10 players on the server to appear
- Players can increase the chance of the 67 creature spawning by depositing Red Skins and Gold into the Forge Machine
- Collecting all 3 knife pieces rewards the M9 Bayonet Late Night skin

How does the 67 Creature event in Trading work?
The creature appears in the Trading hangout and randomly picks 25 percent of players on that server — but only if at least 10 players are present. Each time it selects you it hands over one of three knife pieces, and collecting all three rewards you with the M9 Bayonet Late Night skin. You can raise the odds of it appearing by depositing Red Skins and Gold into the Forge Machine.
