What you're getting into
WarnThe climbing difficulty is officially listed as extreme, and the vast majority of players never reach the top. That's not the whole point. Going in with the right mindset will save you a lot of frustration.
Getting started at base camp
StepYou start at the base camp at the foot of Everest. The earliest area is easier than what comes later, which makes it the right place to learn how movement, jumping, and gripping all feel before the difficulty ramps up.
- Read the instructions on screen markers and map indicators tell you where to go next
- Practice movement and jumping get a feel for how far you can jump and how your character lands
- Practice gripping learn exactly when and where to grab ledges and rock faces
- Use scenery and trail markers as navigation they point you toward the next section of the route
The four stages of the climb
SummaryThe route is structured around distinct camps. Reaching each one is an achievement in its own right, and the gap in difficulty between them grows as you go higher.
- Start you begin your adventure at the foot of the mountain and work toward the first camp
- Camp 1 the first major checkpoint
- Camp 2 the second camp, further up the mountain
- Camp 3 the third camp, deep into the extreme portion of the climb
- Summit the final goal that only a small number of players have ever reached
Moving through each section without stalling
TipsEach section of the route is really a combination of the same basic moves: jumping, gripping, and repositioning. The mountain adds complexity by stacking those moves in trickier arrangements, but the underlying actions stay the same.
- Adjust your camera angle so you can clearly see the next platform or grip point before you move
- Give yourself a longer run-up on jump sections — many falls happen because players don't take enough space behind them
- Memorise exactly where you keep falling — that spot is where you need to change something small, not your whole approach
- Try the same obstacle from a slightly different angle or direction before assuming it's impossible
Playing with friends
CheckThe game supports playing alongside friends, and having company helps when motivation drops on a hard section.
- Join the same server before the climb begins
- Agree on what to do when one person moves ahead waiting or splitting up are both valid
- Share where you keep getting stuck so friends can watch and suggest a different approach
- Watch how a friend gets past a section you're struggling with seeing the move done live is faster than figuring it out alone
When you're completely stuck
CheckIf you've fallen from the same spot many times in a row, something specific needs to change. Run through this list before you give up on a section.
- Have you memorised exactly where the fall happens not just the general area?
- Have you tried approaching from a different direction or angle?
- Are you giving yourself enough run-up for jump sections?
- Is your grip input landing at the right moment, not a fraction too early or late?
- Is your connection lagging rare, but a slow server can make inputs feel off?
- Have you stepped away for a few minutes and come back fresh?

Common questions
FAQI keep falling from the same spot. What should I do?
Try changing your run-up distance, adjusting where exactly you grip, or shifting your camera so you can see the target more clearly. If none of that works after several tries, take a short break and come back.
How do I play with a friend?
Choose the same server before you both start climbing. Once you're in the same session you can see each other's positions and talk through sections you're both stuck on. Agree beforehand whether you'll wait for each other or play at your own pace, since progress speeds can differ.
Do I need to spend Robux to reach the top?
No — there's no penalty for falling, so every attempt is free, and the only thing that moves you forward is practice and persistence.
Should I try to rush through the early sections?
No — the early area is where you should slow down and get the controls into muscle memory. Getting comfortable with gripping and timing at the start will help you through every harder section ahead.
