About

Overview

DEADZONE CLASSIC is a recreation of the original Roblox survival and PvP game DEADZONE, rebuilt from scratch by AlfederateGump to feel indistinguishable from the old engine. Up to 25 players share one server, fighting each other and zombies while collecting guns and hats. This guide covers how to earn kills, build your collection, and work toward every badge the game offers.

01

How the game is structured

Summary
In short DEADZONE CLASSIC runs as a deathmatch where kills and collection are the two things you are always working on at once.

Each server holds up to 25 players, so there is almost always someone nearby to fight. The game tracks your total kills across sessions, and five badges mark the milestones. Alongside kills, two collection tracks run in parallel: one for guns and one for hats, masks, and eyewear.

  • Server size up to 25 players per room
  • Kill milestones 1, 10, 100, 1,000, and 10,000 kills each award a badge
  • Gun collection gathering every gun earns Gun Collector
  • Gun mastery getting at least one kill with every gun earns Weapons Master
  • Hat collection gathering every hat, mask, and eyewear item earns Hat Collector

02

Working toward kill badges

Step
In short The kill count climbs by a factor of ten at each step, so pacing yourself across many sessions is the only realistic path to 10,000.

The five kill badges go 1, 10, 100, 1,000, and 10,000 — each one ten times harder than the last. The first badge is easy, but 100 is where most players feel the grind begin. Because servers are full, you are rarely short of targets.

  1. Kill milestones go 1, 10, 100, 1,000, and 10,000.
  2. The 10k Kills badge description reads "What is wrong with you???" marking it as the most demanding milestone.
03

Running Gun Collector and Weapons Master together

Tips
In short Because both badges require every gun, treating each new pickup as a prompt to get one kill with it advances both badges at once.

Gun Collector requires you to own every gun in the game, while Weapons Master requires at least one kill with each of them.

Tips worth knowing
  • Gun Collector is earned by collecting every gun in the game.
  • Weapons Master is earned by getting at least one kill with every gun in the game.
  • One kill per gun is all Weapons Master needs.
04

Reaching Hat Collector

Check
In short Hat Collector covers three distinct categories, so checking each one separately is the safest way to avoid missing something.

The Hat Collector badge requires every hat, every mask, and every eyewear item in the game. Missing even one piece from any of the three categories blocks the badge.

  • Confirm you have every hat in your collection.
  • Check masks as a separate category.
  • Check eyewear as a third separate category.

Common questions

FAQ

Which badge takes the longest to earn?

The 10k Kills badge is by far the longest grind — the game's own description reacts with "What is wrong with you???" when you earn it.

Do I need to finish Gun Collector before I can start Weapons Master?

The two badges run in parallel. Gun Collector requires owning every gun, while Weapons Master requires at least one kill with every gun.

Is DEADZONE CLASSIC the same game as the original DEADZONE?

It is a recreation built from scratch, not a port or a patched version of the original. The developer's stated goal was to make it feel indistinguishable from the old DEADZONE engine, and the building and car models were taken from the developer library. The gameplay is designed to match the original, but it is a separate, independently made project.
