Starting out — tutorial and first choices
StepWhen you load in for the first time, complete the tutorial before doing anything else. Finishing it means you will never be forced through it again on any new save file. Because you begin as a mage, you have three broad paths to consider from the start: mastering your magic, switching focus to weapons, or building around a fighting style.
- Complete the tutorial it grants a badge and skips the intro on future files.
- Decide on a build magic, weapons, or fighting style, before spending your first stat points.
- Pay attention to in-game hints they appear the first time you interact with a new system and explain it on the spot.
Land combat and build focus
TipsMost enemies and bosses engage you on land, so getting comfortable with land combat is the priority. Since you were born a mage, you have the option of mastering your magic, or dropping it entirely in favor of fighting styles, weapon mastery, and more.
- Magic deals damage from range.
- Weapons and fighting styles work at closer range.
Naval combat — broadsiding and ramming
TableNaval combat happens between ships and has two distinct forms. Ramming sends your ship directly into the enemy, which hits hard but damages your hull too. If you are on the receiving end of a ram, hold G to make your crew brace, which lowers the damage your side takes.
| Broadsiding | exchange cannon fire from a distance; firepower and hull size determine the outcome. |
| Ramming | slam your ship into the enemy for heavy damage, but your own hull takes damage too. |
| Bracing (hold G) | reduces damage when your ship is rammed by another. |
Gear and drops
CheckEnemies drop equipment when defeated, and with thousands of items in the pool there is always something worth picking up.
- Pick up drops after every fight and compare them to your current gear.
- Swap immediately when a drop offers better stats for your build.
System requirements and what costs nothing
SummaryBecause the game loads thousands of items and textures, it is demanding on hardware. A gamepad is not supported — keyboard and mouse are required. Donating Robux unlocks cosmetic titles such as Donator, Supporter, and Aristocrat.
- RAM 6 GB or more recommended for stable play.
- Controls keyboard and mouse only; gamepad is not supported.
- Donation titles Donator, Supporter, and Aristocrat are cosmetic rank titles granted for Robux donations.

Common questions
FAQShould I stick with magic or switch to weapons early on?
You begin as a mage, but the game lets you drop magic entirely in favor of weapons or fighting styles. Pick the one that matches how you like to play.
Do I need to spend Robux to progress?
No. Donating Robux gives you cosmetic titles — Donator, Supporter, Aristocrat — that appear across all your save files, but they do not affect gameplay.
The game runs slowly or crashes — what should I check?
The game recommends at least 6 GB of RAM because of the sheer number of items and textures it loads. Keyboard and mouse are also required — gamepad is not supported.
What is the difference between the bounty and fame leaderboards?
Bounty ranks the most feared villains in the world, with the top four holding the Emperor of the Sea title and the next ten holding Warlord of the Sea. Fame does the same for heroes, with Monarch of the Sea at the top and Guardian of the Sea just behind. Tiers continue down to rank 100 on both sides.
