Basic controls
Check
Every action in the game is mapped to keyboard keys or mouse buttons. Console players must connect a keyboard and mouse before they can do anything.
- WASD moves your character; the mouse rotates your view

Movement and cover tricks
Tips
The game gives you several tools to control how exposed you are during a fight.
- Press Q or E to lean your body left or right
- Hold Middle Mouse Button to look around freely while keeping your weapon raised
- Hold Alt and press W, A, or D to shift your blindfire position — keep holding Alt the whole time
- Hold Z and scroll to change your walking speed
Grenade throws
Step
Grenades have separate controls for throw height, cooking, and putting the safety back on.
- High throw hold Left Mouse Button to prepare a high, long-distance throw, then release
- Low throw hold Middle Mouse Button to prepare a low, short throw, then release
- Cook the grenade press Right Mouse Button to shorten the fuse so it explodes sooner
- Cancel press T to put the safety back on before throwing

Glossary- Blindfire
- Firing your weapon while keeping your body behind cover, so less of you is exposed to return fire.
- Cooking a grenade
- Removing the safety pin and holding the grenade before throwing so it explodes sooner after it lands.
- Freelook
- Rotating your camera view without changing the direction your weapon is pointing.
- Gradual zoom
- Zooming in step by step using the scroll wheel.
- Moderation
- Action taken against a player who breaks the server's rules.
