First steps when you load in
Step
The very first thing to practice is the double jump — tap your jump button twice quickly and you get a second jump in mid-air. That movement trick makes crossing islands much easier from the start. Once you can double jump reliably, walk up to the enemies on your starting island and attack them. They drop swords, so pick everything up and equip the strongest blade you have.

Your rank rises as you accumulate Ninjitsu from defeating enemies. The rank ladder runs from Rookie up through Grasshopper, Apprentice, Samurai, Assassin, Shadow, Ninja, Master Ninja, Sensei, Master Sensei, Ninja Legend, Master of Shadows, and Immortal Assassin. Islands in the game include Enchanted, Astral, Mystical, Space, Tundra, Eternal, and the newly added Blazing Vortex Island.

Pets fight alongside you automatically during combat. Evolution works by combining multiple copies of the same pet into a single more powerful one. The latest update lowered the number of pets needed for each evolution. The most powerful evolution currently in the game requires 25 Shadowstorm pets to create a VORTEX-ELITE. On Blazing Vortex Island you can also find the Infinity Void Pet Crystal.

What to do on Blazing Vortex Island
StepBlazing Vortex Island is the largest content drop in the current version of the game, adding 48 new swords, 3 new ranks, new belts, new skills, and the Blazing Entity element.
- Grab one of the 48 new blades to keep your damage current with the enemies on the island.
- Push the 3 new ranks by defeating enemies on the island.
- Unlock Blazing Entity head to the Altar of Elements and unlock the new Blazing Entity element.

If your Ninjitsu is climbing slowly and enemies feel too tough, run through this checklist. Most players who feel stuck are simply using a sword or pet that they outgrew several islands ago.
- Is your sword from the current island? Old swords deal far less damage than new ones.
- Have you evolved your pets recently? An un-evolved pet at a low tier holds back your damage.
