How roles work each round
SummaryEach round, every player is given a different role — pilot, firefighter, rescue crew, and others. You do not pick your role; the game assigns it. Because the assignment changes from round to round, you will end up playing every position over time. Voice chat is enabled, so talking to your team is the fastest way to coordinate.
- Role shown on your screen at the start of each round; read it before you do anything else
- Pilot fly the aircraft to a safe landing point
- Firefighter put out cabin fires using on-board equipment
- Rescue crew evacuate passengers and seal the wreckage after landing
- Voice chat enabled by default; use it to relay what is happening in your section of the plane
- Coordination following the pilot's updates and your commander's orders raises the team's survival rate
Playing as the pilot
StepWhen you are assigned the pilot role, your goal is to bring the plane down in one piece. Emergencies will throw the aircraft into unexpected movements, so you need to watch your instruments and correct course quickly. The game can place a usable landing point at an airfield or even a highway depending on the scenario.
- Listen for GPWS alerts the ground proximity warning system calls out when the aircraft is dangerously low; climb or adjust immediately
- Identify your landing point look for the designated airfield or emergency surface the scenario gives you
Playing as firefighter or rescue crew
TipsFirefighters and rescue crew are on the ground side of the emergency. Fires spread and cut into passenger survival. Evacuation slides, rafts, and crash axes are available as safety equipment inside the aircraft.
- Use the fire extinguishers and other firefighting equipment on board to knock down flames
- Open evacuation slides and rafts to get passengers out once the aircraft stops
- Seal the wreckage after evacuation
The FDR, CVR, and QAR
CheckThe game includes functional flight recorders — the Flight Data Recorder, the Cockpit Voice Recorder, and the Quick Access Recorder. Locating each one earns you a badge and lets you look back at the flight's data. They are separate finds, so you need to track down each one individually.
- Find the CVR to hear what was happening in the cockpit during the emergency
- Find the FDR to review the full flight profile and spot where things went wrong
- Find the QAR for the third recorder badge
- All three are separate badge unlocks finding one does not count toward the others
Earning Eaglets and spending coins
TipsThe game uses a currency called Eaglets. You earn them by playing — surviving a round is the main source. Joining Black Eagle Industries gives you a monthly bonus of 150 Eaglets plus extra daily Eaglets. Time-based rewards also pay out: 30 Eaglets at 15 minutes of play, with further rewards at 30 minutes and 60 minutes. There are 230+ permanent perks to spend on, including over 40 vehicles.
- Join Black Eagle Industries early to start collecting the monthly and daily Eaglet bonuses

Getting a smoother experience in beta
WarnThe game is still in beta, which means bugs can interrupt a round. The developers themselves recommend playing on a private server, and those servers are free to create. The game runs on PC, mobile, tablet, and console.
