Controls for every device
TableThe way you charge and release a shot is different on each platform, but the goal is the same: hold to build power, then release to fire.
| Desktop | click and drag to charge, then release to shoot |
| Mobile | use the power slider to set strength, then tap the button to shoot |
| Xbox | press A and push the joystick to charge, then press A again to shoot |
| PlayStation | press X and push the joystick to charge, then press X again to shoot |
How scoring works
TipsEvery hole has a par — the expected number of strokes it should take. The player with the fewest total strokes across all 18 holes wins the round. Sinking the ball in one stroke on any hole earns the Hole In One badge, and finishing one, two, three, or four strokes under par earns Birdie, Eagle, Albatross, or Condor respectively. Winning a round is separate from low scores — you need to beat every other player in the lobby.
- After a round ends, vote for the map you want to play next
- On the Canyon and Forest maps, look for boostpads — they can carry your ball further than a normal shot
Rewards from leveling up and winning
StepTwo separate reward tracks run at the same time: one based on your level and one based on how many total wins you have accumulated. Both unlock cosmetic items you cannot get any other way.
- Level up your first level-up gets the Level 2 badge; reaching level 10, 25, 50, 75, and 100 unlocks Bronze, Silver, Gold, Dark, and Futuristic cosmetics in that order
- Stack wins every win-count milestone from 1 win all the way to 1,000 wins awards a unique Trophy hat you can wear on your ball
- Win on specific maps beating the Forest, Oasis, Arctic, Graveyard, Candyland, Atlantis, Island, Mineshaft, Grove, Facility, Redwood, Temple, Canyon, and other named maps each awards a map-exclusive skin or hat
- Earn badge rewards the Dimension map awards the Portal hat for a first win there, and its Secret 4 badge (requiring four specific windows in jumping mode on a public server) gives the Backrooms skin
- Use redeem codes the site currently tracks 22 working codes; enter them in-game to collect their rewards before they expire
Items, chests, and the Map Builder
TipsItems in Super Golf include skins, hats, effects, cheers, and colors — all purely cosmetic except for chests, which are loot boxes you open to receive random items. You can equip two hats at once unless you own the More Hats gamepass, but only one effect, one cheer, and one color at a time. The Map Builder lets you design original golf courses and invite friends to play them.
- Chests are purchased with coins, gems, or glory points and contain random items at varying rarities
- Common items are the easiest to unbox; Rare and Legendary are mid-tier; Mythical is near the top; Ultimate items appear at roughly 1-in-1,000 odds in most purchasable chests
- Badge-earned and code-earned items carry the Unique rarity and cannot be sold
- Hats and skins can be recolored using Color items; apply one color to your primary slot and one to your secondary slot
- Joining the Nosniy Games group on Roblox grants an exclusive skin and a chat tag
