First steps after the tutorial
StepWhen you start the game for the first time you will play through a tutorial that teaches you how to cook, place furniture, and serve customers. Completing it earns you the Played My Restaurant! badge. After that, every action you take — cooking, cleaning dishes, and taking orders — feeds directly into your early growth.
- Complete the tutorial this unlocks the badge and confirms you understand the core loop of taking orders, cooking food, and clearing dirty plates.
- Place tables and chairs customers need somewhere to sit before they will enter, so fill your floor before worrying about decoration.
- Add a stove without one no food gets cooked and customers will not be served.
- Put a sink or dishwasher near your tables dirty plates must be washed before the next customer can use that seat, and a faster washer means faster turnover.
How floors change your income
TableThe numbers below are for Prestige Level 0 (Amateur). Every floor you unlock shortens the gap between customer arrivals. Floor 10 is the most expensive non-limited cash purchase in the game at 25,000,000 cash. After you Prestige, every floor costs exactly twice as much.
| Floor | Cash cost | Fastest arrival gap | Slowest arrival gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Free | 8 sec | 18 sec |
| 2 | 4,500 | 6 sec | 14 sec |
| 3 | 24,000 | 5 sec | 11 sec |
| 4 | 85,000 | 4.5 sec | 10 sec |
| 5 | 200,000 | 4 sec | 9 sec |
| 6 | 400,000 | 3.5 sec | 8 sec |
| 7 | 700,000 | 2.75 sec | 6.5 sec |
| 8 | 1,300,000 | 2.25 sec | 5 sec |
| 9 | 6,000,000 | 1.5 sec | 3.75 sec |
| 10 | 25,000,000 | 1.25 sec | 2.5 sec |
Restaurant Mastery — permanent speed boosts you earn by playing
SummaryThere are three mastery tracks, each giving a 2.5% buff per level to a different part of your restaurant. The buff resets when you Prestige, so you will need to re-earn it each time. You level each track simply by doing the matching task — no separate menu required.
Laying out your floor for maximum customers
TipsThe default floor grid is 14x14 tiles. If you have the Bigger Restaurant gamepass the grid grows to 16x16.
- Upgrade to faster dishwashers as soon as you can afford them — the Luxury Dishwasher washes a plate in 1.5 seconds versus 15 seconds for the Cheap Sink.
- Place the Arcade Machine on the same floor as your customers — they have a high chance of playing it after eating, and Youtuber Customers pay ten times the normal rate to use it.
Hiring staff and levelling them up
CheckYou can hire waiters to serve customers and cooks to prepare food. As your player level rises you unlock the ability to hire more of each. Prestige resets your player level, which temporarily drops you back to one waiter and one cook until you level up again.
- Check your player level before expecting more staff slots waiters unlock up to level 50 and cooks up to level 90.
- Staff earn 12 experience per dish cooked or served, and higher levels mean noticeably quicker work.
- The maximum staff level cap is 50 for any individual staff member.
- After Prestiging, level up your player as quickly as possible to restore your full staff roster.
Prestige — what it costs and what you gain
WarnThere are currently four Prestige levels: Amateur (none), Rookie, Semi-Pro, and Professional. Reaching each one earns a badge. Be aware of what resets before you commit.
Achievements and how to use them as a progress guide
TipsThere are 113 achievements in total, covering tasks like hiring staff, serving customers, and buying furniture or decor. Each one rewards cash and sometimes XP when completed. They reset fully with every Prestige, so they also serve as a structured rebuild plan after each reset.
- Serving customers is the most common achievement target, so keeping your floor full and your dishwashers fast directly speeds up achievement progress.
- The achievement called The Chefs! requires owning 4 cooks to complete even though the in-game text mistakenly says 6 — aim for 4.
- Achievements reset at every Prestige, so they give you a fresh list of goals and cash rewards each time you start over.

Common questions
FAQWhy are customers not coming in very often?
Customer arrival speed depends on how many floors you own, your Service Mastery level, and any active Boosts or Restaurant Mastery buffs. Buy the next floor if you can afford it, and take orders yourself to level up Service Mastery, which adds 2.5% to arrival rate per level.
Should I Prestige as soon as I can?
Prestige resets your player level, all staff levels, and all three Mastery tracks, and it doubles every floor's cash cost. Only Prestige when you have enough saved cash to buy back your floors and re-hire staff quickly, because you will temporarily lose most of your income capacity.
What is the fastest way to clean plates?
The Luxury Dishwasher cleans a plate in 1.5 seconds, compared to 15 seconds for the Cheap Sink. Levelling up Cleaning Mastery also increases washing speed by 2.5% per level.
Does it matter which floor I put the Arcade Machine on?
Yes — the Arcade Machine must be on the same floor where customers have just finished eating. Customers have a high chance of playing it after their meal, and Youtuber Customers pay ten times the standard rate.
