Earning Research Points
StepResearch Points, or RP, are the main currency in Alien Facility. You earn them just by being in the game, but finishing the tasks tied to your role adds a bonus on top of the automatic trickle. Spend RP on items and mutations to strengthen your character.
- Stay in the session RP is awarded automatically every five minutes regardless of what you do.
- Complete role tasks finishing them pays out more RP than passive play alone.
Playing with friends
TipsAlien Facility is built around group roleplay, and having friends on both sides of the conflict gives sessions a story of their own. You can also run the same role together and tackle tasks as a team.
- Split into alien and scientist roles with your group to get a proper back-and-forth roleplay going.
- Playing the same role together makes task completion easier.
