Your first steps in the game

Getting your grimoire at the Grimoire Tower is the first thing you do when you first load in.
Everything in Black Grimoire revolves around your grimoire, so head to the Grimoire Tower. Once you have one, dungeons become your main source of levels and equipment.
- Go to the Grimoire Tower pick up your first grimoire here.
- Choose your race and class this combination shapes your stat bonuses.
- Enter a dungeon enemies spawn randomly and drop loot.

Each grimoire plays differently, so spend time at the Grimoire Tower before committing to one.
There are eighteen grimoires in total, each with its own attributes and combat style. You can also obtain new grimoires through the gacha system.
Tips worth knowing
- The full roster is: Light, Anti, Ice, Undead Corpses, Mirror, Wind, Dark Light, Water, Time, Dark, Lightning, Blood, Spatial, Imitation, Thread, Plant, Fire, and Earth.
- The Grimoire Tower is the place to get your first one without spending anything.
- The gacha system lets you obtain additional grimoires.

Luck bonuses and how to get them

A few quick actions can push your luck bonus up to 5% on weekends.
Two separate bonuses stack to give you a maximum of 5% on weekends.
- Join the NikkiDZN group on Roblox this gives you a 1% luck boost on normal days.
- Play on a weekend the group bonus rises to 2% on weekends instead of 1%.
- Add BG_ to the front of your username, or _BG to the end either tag grants an extra 3% luck boost.

The game supports solo players and group players. Leveling, dungeon farming, PvP, and ranked competition are all available paths.

Glossary- Grimoire
- A magic book that defines your combat abilities; there are eighteen types in total, each with a different attribute and playstyle.
- Grimoire Tower
- The in-game location where you pick up your first grimoire at no cost when you start playing.
- Dungeon
- A randomly generated area where enemies spawn and drop loot.
- Luck
- A stat that can be raised through the NikkiDZN group bonus and the BG username tag.
- Gacha
- A randomised draw system that can award you additional grimoires beyond the one you start with.

Head to the Grimoire Tower — that is where every player picks up their first grimoire. You do not need to spend anything to get one there.
Does it matter which race and class I pick?
Yes — each combination of race and class produces different stat bonuses.
How do I get the full 5% luck bonus?
Join the NikkiDZN group on Roblox for a 2% boost on weekends, then add BG_ or _BG to your username for another 3%. Together those two bonuses cap out at 5% on a weekend.
Can I play for free?
Yes — you can grab a grimoire from the Grimoire Tower without spending Robux, and dungeon runs drop gear and experience. The gacha lets you spend if you want more grimoires.
