Grabbing the Omnitrix and talking to the Tennysons are key early actions for every new player.
Picking up the Omnitrix unlocks your alien forms, and the Tennyson family members around the map point you toward your first missions. Codes expire and each one can only be used once, so enter them early.
- Pick up the Omnitrix this is required before you can transform into any alien at all.
- Talk to every Tennyson family member each one you speak to counts toward a badge.
- Open the code redemption screen enter codes to claim free aliens and other rewards before they expire.

The three villain bosses and how to beat them

Each boss has a distinct mechanic, so knowing what the game actually asks you to do saves you from dying repeatedly to the wrong strategy.
Beating all three villains earns you the Victory over Villains badge, but each fight works differently. Steam Smythe does not go down from raw damage alone — you have to return his clockwork bomb back to him. Vilgax requires you to destroy his battleship rather than fighting him directly. Hex traps you in a Nightmare Dreamscape, and the goal is to escape it.

Keeping at least two aliens levelled up means you are never stuck because one form is the wrong tool for the job.
The game gives you several alien forms. Four Arms and Stinkfly are two of the named aliens available, each built for different situations. Premium players earn 50% more Omnitrix DNA, which is the resource used to power up aliens.
Tips worth knowing
- Four Arms is built for close-range brawling.
- Stinkfly has flight, which lets you reach enemies and areas that ground-based aliens cannot.
- Greymatter is small enough to reach at least one token that no other alien can get to — worth remembering for the Perfect Size badge.
- Premium players earn 50% more Omnitrix DNA.

There are nine badges in total. The XLR8 Race has two separate badges — one for finishing it and one for beating the ghost time — so it rewards a second attempt even after you clear it the first time.
