Getting started with controls

Step
In short Learning the three core controls takes less than a minute, and the in-game tutorial covers the rest.

  2. Cinematic camera (PC only) press Shift + P to switch to a cinematic angle.
  3. Hide other players (PC only) press N to clear other players from your view.
  4. Check keybinds the game lists all control binds in one place; open it if you get lost.

The route from Amsterdam to Den Helder

Summary
In short The line runs north from the Dutch capital through several well-known cities before ending at a coastal naval city.

The full route connects six locations across the north of the Netherlands. Both modern and historical trains run the line.

  • Start Amsterdam, the Dutch capital
  • Stop Zaandam
  • Stop Alkmaar
  • Stop Purmerend
  • Stop Hoorn
  • End Den Helder, a naval city on the northern coast

April Fools event badges

Warn
In short Both April Fools badges are tied to their event windows and cannot be earned outside them.

Two badges were available only during limited April Fools events. If you missed the window, there is nothing you can do now — they are not earnable in normal play.

Worth watching out for
Garden of Stroopwafel was available during the April Fools 2024 event; it required driving a train up a hill and entering the Garden of Stroopwafel.
Minecart was available during the April Fools 2026 event; it required completing a full lap around a minecart track.
Neither badge is obtainable outside its event period.

Developer meet badges

Check
In short Three badges come from crossing paths with real developers in a live session.

Meeting a developer in-game is not something you can plan for, but knowing the badges exist means you will recognise the moment if it happens.

  • You met StefanNL_Plays awarded when the creator of the game joins your session.
  • You met x3Lau awarded when x3Lau joins your session.
  • You met a developer awarded when any other member of the development team joins your session.
