Choosing your role

Table

In short Your role decides your goals entirely, so pick the one that matches how you want to play.

When you join a server you choose between Inmate, Guard, and Criminal. Each role has a different set of objectives.

Inmate	survive inside the prison, craft tools and weapons, and work toward escaping
Guard	keep order inside the prison, stop escape attempts, then patrol the city and hunt wanted criminals
Criminal	operate freely in the open-world city through robberies, base raids, and bounty hunting

Playing as an Inmate

Step

In short Crafting and teamwork with other inmates are the two things that move you from locked up to broken out.

As an Inmate your immediate environment is the prison itself. Working with other inmate players lets you run plans that are too ambitious to pull off alone.

Use the crafting system gather materials inside the prison and turn them into weapons and escape tools
Coordinate with other inmates to take control of the prison
Once you break out successfully, you move into Criminal territory and can start open-world activities

Playing as a Criminal

Tips

In short Criminals earn through robberies, base raids, and bounty collecting in the open-world city.

The open-world city is your playground as a Criminal. Robberies bring in cash, raids on other players' bases pull in resources, and police chases test your driving.

Tips worth knowing

Target city facilities and vaults to earn cash through robberies
Team up with other Criminals to raid bases and take their resources
Keep a vehicle ready so you can break away from police chases
Collect bounties
Scout hidden locations across the map

Playing as a Guard

Step

In short Guards maintain order inside the prison and hunt criminals in the open-world city.

As a Guard you monitor inmates inside the prison and shut down escape plans. Outside you patrol the city, and chase down wanted criminals.

Monitor inmate activity inside the prison
Patrol the open world and engage active criminals
Capture wanted criminals tracking down and catching bounty targets earns you rewards
Coordinate with other Guards to prevent large-scale escape attempts

Glossary

Crafting: The in-prison system where you gather materials and turn them into weapons or escape tools.
Escape: The moment an Inmate breaks out of the prison and enters the open-world city.
Bounty: A wanted status placed on a Criminal after major crimes, which other players can collect rewards for by capturing them.
Base Raid: A Criminal activity where you attack another player's base to steal their resources.

Can I play solo, or do I need a team?

All three roles support solo play. This is a PvP game, so you will run into other players constantly, and some missions are built around cooperation.

What happens after I escape as an Inmate?

Once you break out of the prison you enter the open-world city and can take part in Criminal activities like robberies, base raids, and police chases.

How do Guards earn rewards?

Guards earn rewards by tracking down and capturing wanted criminals in the open-world city.
