What you are trying to do

Summary
In short Your only goal is to survive three minutes against the frog doll — everything else follows from that.

Frogge is a hide-and-seek survival game. One side plays as the hunters and the other must avoid a witch's cursed, homicidal frog doll. A full match lasts three minutes, and making it to the end is the win condition.

  • Match length three minutes per round
  • Win condition survive the full three minutes
  • Game type survival horror hide and seek
  • Threat a cursed frog doll that actively hunts players

Coins and how they are earned

Warn
In short Coins only count in public servers under specific conditions, so know the rules before you grind.

Coins are the in-game currency, but earning them comes with strict requirements. Playing on a VIP server only rewards coins if the match has four or more players and nobody resets or disconnects during it. Any stats from VIP servers do not count toward the leaderboards regardless.

Worth watching out for
Resetting your character during a VIP server match cancels your coin reward for that match
Disconnecting also voids coins for that VIP server session
Leaderboard progress is never updated from VIP server play, only from public matches
03

Developer badges and what they mean

Tips
In short Killing one of the named developers earns you a badge, which means they actually play the game in public lobbies.

There are eight official badges in Frogge. One marks alpha testers who played very early. The other seven are awarded for eliminating specific members of the development team — EmilyBendsSpace, DoctorTheDeveloper, MalvaB, T_Bull7, Echo_Ryder, Daxzander, and B4shar — in a live match.

Tips worth knowing
  • Developers join public matches, so a dev kill badge is a real in-game achievement, not a one-time event
  • The alpha tester badge cannot be earned now; it was given to players from the earliest days of the game

Common questions

FAQ

How long does one round last?

Each round lasts three minutes. If you survive that long without being caught by the frog doll, you win the round.

Why did I not get coins after a VIP server match?

VIP server matches only award coins if there are four or more players in the match and nobody resets or disconnects at any point. If either condition is broken, no coins are given. VIP server results also never appear on the leaderboards.

Can I earn the developer kill badges any time?

You can earn them whenever a developer happens to be in your public lobby. The alpha tester badge, however, was a one-time reward for the earliest players and can no longer be unlocked.

Does Frogge cost anything to play?

No. Frogge is free to play on Roblox and no purchase is required to access any part of the game.
