About

Overview

Starting out: the prologue

Step
In short Finishing the prologue is the right first move before you take on any named Kaiju.

The prologue is a dedicated introductory stage built to get you comfortable with the game before the real fights begin. Clearing it unlocks a badge and signals that you are ready to move on.

  1. Launch the game the prologue is your starting point, so enter it as soon as you load in.
  2. Learn the controls the in-game tutorial explains movement, attacking, and defending while you are actually doing them.
  3. Clear the stage finishing it earns the Prologue badge and opens the door to full Kaiju battles.

Basic Jaeger controls

Check
In short Movement, attacking, and defending are the three things you need to have down before any serious fight.

Your Jaeger is a colossal machine, so getting used to its weight and reach takes a few minutes. The fundamentals are simple: close the distance, hit hard, and protect yourself when a Kaiju swings back.

  • Movement lets you close in on a Kaiju, back off to recover, or dodge an incoming strike.
  • The attack button drives your weapon into the Kaiju for damage.
  • A defensive stance cuts the damage you take when a Kaiju connects.
03

Every Kaiju and what to expect

Tips
In short Seven named Kaiju stand between you and a full clear, with Slattern as the hardest of them all.

Each Kaiju you defeat earns its own badge, giving you a clear record of your progress. Slattern carries a Category 5 rating — the highest threat level in the game.

Tips worth knowing
  • Otachi, Leatherback, Scunner, Raiju, and Obsidian Fury are all named targets, each with a badge waiting when you beat them.
  • Mega Kaiju is a distinct encounter on its own and has its own badge separate from the others.
  • Slattern is rated Category 5, making it the single toughest Kaiju in the game.
04

Solo play vs. co-op

Table
In short Solo suits self-reliant players while co-op lets a group of up to eight spread the pressure across multiple Jaegers.

The game supports one to eight players in the same session, so you can jump in alone or bring a full crew.

Soloyou handle every Kaiju attack yourself, but you set your own pace with no coordination needed.
Co-opup to eight Jaegers can hit the same Kaiju, letting players cover each other.

Common questions

FAQ

What should I do first?

Start with the prologue. It is an introductory stage that walks you through the basic controls while you play. Finishing it earns a badge and prepares you for the named Kaiju fights.

Which Kaiju is the hardest?

Slattern is rated Category 5, which is the highest threat level in the game.

How do I report a bug?

Use the community link on the game's Roblox page to reach the developer. You can send bug reports, suggestions, and general feedback there.

Is solo play worth it, or do I need a group?

Both modes are fully supported. Solo is harder because every Kaiju attack is yours to deal with alone, while co-op lets up to eight players share the load.
