Murderers vs. Sheriffs — How each round works
About
OverviewMurderers vs. Sheriffs splits every round into two teams — murderers trying to wipe out the sheriffs, and sheriffs hunting down every murderer. This guide covers both roles, the killstreak badges worth chasing, and what to do when you keep losing.

How each round works
SummaryAt the start of each round you are placed on either the murderer team or the sheriff team. Murderers win by eliminating all the sheriffs; sheriffs win by finding and eliminating all the murderers. When a round ends, roles reset and a new match begins, so every player gets time on both sides.
Killstreak badges and what they demand
CheckThere are four killstreak milestones — 10, 25, 50, and 100 kills without dying. Reaching 100 without a death is rare enough that the badge itself jokes about it. On top of the streak badges, two badges reward server-level dominance: King goes to whoever holds the longest killstreak in the lobby, while Absolute Monarch requires holding that King status for at least half the entire game. Kingslayer, on the other hand, goes to whoever ends a King's run.
- 10 kills without dying is the first milestone.
- 25 kills without dying is noticeably rarer.
- 50 kills without dying marks the point where very few players ever reach.
- 100 kills without dying is the top streak badge almost no one earns it.
- King status is earned by having the highest killstreak on the server at any moment.
- Absolute Monarch requires holding King for at least half the round's total duration.
Other badges worth knowing
TipsNot every badge requires a massive killstreak. Some reward single high-skill moments, and one is a long-term progression reward tied to reaching level 100.
- Revenge unlocks the moment you kill the exact player who killed you last.
- MVP is awarded at the end of a round to the player with the best kill-death ratio, and your statue is placed in the lobby during the voting period.
- Archer requires landing a knife throw or a shot from 200 or more studs away.
- Kingslayer is earned by killing the current King.
- Megalomaniac unlocks at level 100 and gives you the Inexplicable Electromagnetic Phenomenon skin for both weapons, which visually chars any enemy you eliminate.
Free-to-play status
SummaryEvery player on both teams competes with the same abilities regardless of spending. Skins change how your character looks but do not alter gameplay, and participating in rounds or winning matches costs nothing.

Common questions
FAQDo roles stay the same the whole game?
No — roles reset at the end of every round, so you will play both murderer and sheriff across a session.
Which role is stronger?
Murderers benefit from stealth and surprise, while sheriffs benefit from greater numbers.
Can I play with friends?
Joining the same server through Roblox puts you in the same match as your friends. Teams are assigned each round, so there is a chance you end up on opposite sides.
How do I get the Archer badge?
You need to land a knife throw or a gunshot from at least 200 studs away.
What does the Megalomaniac skin actually do?
Reaching level 100 unlocks the Inexplicable Electromagnetic Phenomenon skin for both weapons. Any enemy you eliminate is struck and charred, but it does not change damage or any other stat.
