Getting into your first race
Step
When you launch the game you land in the lobby, where you can choose any available map and enter a race. The tutorial walks you through the basics and only needs to be completed once — after that, you are free to jump straight into matches.
- Open the lobby select whichever map catches your eye, such as Charlotte or Apocalypse 2123.
- Do the tutorial complete it once and you never have to sit through it again.
- Join the race you share the same track with other live players from the moment the flag drops.

Not every achievement comes from crossing the finish line first. Some require you to explore the map, survive a specific threat, or simply stumble across something unexpected.
- Find the secret hideout at the highest point of the backstretch this unlocks the Reach The Summit badge.
- Survive The Evil Ghost Ridin' Thug by avoiding eight consecutive crash attempts do not let it hit you.
- During the 2025 Halloween event, hunt down and destroy Dive the Famished to earn that event badge.
- Locate the old man fishing somewhere on the map finding him earns you the [🎣] nametag.
- Keep an eye on who is in your server being in the same session as the founder unlocks a rare badge.
Recovering lost progress

The game has built-in recovery commands for both win records and level data. For anything the commands cannot fix, the community server handles reports and appeals.

Glossary- Draft
- The speed boost you get by driving directly behind another player, caused by the slipstream they leave behind.
- Slipstream
- The pocket of reduced air resistance behind a moving car — entering it is what triggers the draft boost.
- Half-pipe
- A U-shaped structure added to Apocalypse 2123 that changes how you can move through that section of the track.
- PvP
- Player versus player — every racer on your track is a real person, not a computer opponent.
- !revertstats
- An in-game chat command that restores your win count if it has been lost to a bug or crash.
- !revertdata
- An in-game chat command that restores your level data if it has disappeared.
