Getting started before your first fight

A few quick checks before you play will save you a lot of frustration early on.
Your account must be at least one day old before the game will let you play properly, so make sure that requirement is met. Once you are in, run /e stats to see your current standing. The game runs on consoles, tablets, phones, and computers, so your controls will differ depending on your device.

How guns work and why losing one hurts

- KO
- Knocked out — when you are taken down in combat, which triggers the risk of losing your gun save.
- Gun save
- The way the game stores your gun to your account, which can be wiped if you die or log off while KO'd.
- Crouch
- Holding Left Ctrl on a computer to lower your character.
- Ragdoll
- A physics state triggered when you are thrown, associated with Left Ctrl.
- CO-OP mission
- A cooperative team challenge in Hood Modded that awards a badge to the players who win it.
Common questions
FAQWhy can't I play even though I just made my account?
Your Roblox account must be at least one day old before Hood Modded will let you play fully. Wait until the day is up, then try again.
I lost my gun after dying — can I get it back?
Guns are save data tied to your account, and getting KO'd or logging out while down permanently removes them. There is no way to recover a lost gun, so your next step is to obtain a new one in-game.
What is the difference between the two CO-OP badges?
True Veteran Champion is awarded for winning the older CO-OP mission, while True Champion is for winning the 2026 CO-OP mission. Both are given only to players who actually win.
