The three game modes
TableRe:Infected currently has three modes. Zombie Escape is round-based — your team pushes through a map and tries to get out before the zombies stop you. Endless Warfare stretches time into the negatives, meaning the longer you hold out past zero, the better you do. Survival works the same way but counts up, and the goal is simply to reach as high a time as possible.
| Zombie Escape | round-based mode where surviving players must escape the map |
| Endless Warfare | time counts into the negatives; stay alive as long as possible past zero |
| Survival | time counts up; hold out to rack up as much time as you can |
Weapons and utilities to bring
TipsYour loadout in Re:Infected draws from three broad categories of tools. Explosives clear groups fast, incendiary grenades deal fire damage over an area, and slowing utilities buy your team time to finish zombies off safely.
- Incendiary grenades burn zombies in an area.
- Explosive grenades can wipe out several zombies at once when they are grouped up.
- The X10 Claymore is a placed explosive that can take out 10 zombies in a single detonation.
- The super strong claymore is the heaviest explosive available and can eliminate 50 zombies at once.
- Slowing utilities reduce zombie movement speed.
Hidden secrets and alternate exits
StepSeveral maps in Re:Infected hide exits and areas that are not part of the standard path. Discovering them unlocks content for the entire server and earns you a badge. Two maps have confirmed alternate exits, and one has a hidden area reachable only by exploring outside the main map boundary.
- Dummy Deception Facility search the map for a portal that opens a separate escape route out of the facility.
- Dummy Map find the blocked gate; getting through it counts as a full escape.
- X1 Laboratory locate this hidden area underwater, away from the main map, to discover it.
- Server unlock finding secrets or easter eggs on any map unlocks it for everyone in the server and awards the Map Unlocked badge to all players present.
High-difficulty goals worth chasing
CheckSeveral achievements push well beyond casual play. Some require specific server sizes, others require you to hold out far past what a normal run demands.
- Solo requires a server with at least 40 players you must be the only survivor when the round ends.
- Pyromaniac asks you to burn 35 zombies with incendiary grenades in a single round, not across multiple sessions.
- Big Boom needs all 50 kills to happen in one detonation of the super strong claymore.
- Bad Isekai #1 requires you to reach minus two minutes in Endless Warfare.
- Bad Isekai #2 requires you to reach eleven minutes in Survival mode.
- Revenge requires reaching minus 0:50 in Survival mode on a certain map.

You need to finish any game mode or map as the only surviving player in a server that has at least 40 people in it.
What is the difference between Bad Isekai #1 and Bad Isekai #2?
Bad Isekai #1 is earned in Endless Warfare by reaching minus two minutes. Bad Isekai #2 is earned in Survival by reaching eleven minutes. They are separate badges for separate modes.
