Mega Hide and Seek — Your first minute as a hider
About
OverviewMega Hide and Seek is a Roblox hide-and-seek game where players either hide from the seeker or hunt everyone down before time runs out. Each round gives hiders one minute to explore the map and find a spot before the seeker arrives. This guide covers how both roles work, how to move around maps, and how to earn coins, diamonds, and powerups.

Your first minute as a hider
StepWhen you start a round as a hider, you have exactly one minute before the seeker shows up. Use that time to run the whole map, not just the nearest corner. The maps include cannons, slides, teleporters, and bounce pads — find out where each one leads so you can use them to escape later. Choose a spot that is hard to spot and still gives you a way out if someone gets close.
- Run the full map cover as much ground as possible before the seeker arrives, not just the area near your starting point.
- Locate every transport find the cannons, slides, teleporters, and bounce pads and learn where they drop you.
- Pick two or three hiding spots having backups means you can move quickly if the seeker heads your way.
- Favor height and tight spaces areas that are high up or narrow are harder for seekers to check first.
- Plan an escape route choose spots where you can reach a cannon or teleporter without crossing open ground.
Staying alive as a hider
TipsSitting still in one spot the whole round sounds safe, but seekers revisit areas they already checked because hiders do move. Watch for the seeker and be ready to switch locations while they are busy searching somewhere else. The map's transport options are your best tool for putting distance between you and whoever is hunting you.
- Never stay in one spot the whole round — relocate while the seeker is focused elsewhere.
- Use cannons and teleporters to cross the map fast instead of running in the open.
- Move while the seeker is occupied — the moment they turn toward another area is your window.
Seeking efficiently
CheckAs the seeker, start with flat, open ground where hiders have nowhere to duck, then close in on high platforms and tight spots. If other seekers are on your team, split the map between you so nobody doubles up on the same zone.
- Revisit spots you already cleared, because hiders relocate during the round.
- When multiple seekers are active, divide the map between you rather than clustering together.
Coins, diamonds, and powerups
SummaryCoins and diamonds are earned during play and spent on powerups and cosmetics. Powerups affect how well you hide or seek, depending on which role you are playing. They must be equipped before a round starts — buying one is not enough on its own. Cosmetics like sprays do not affect the outcome of a round. Paid options exist but do not change how strong you are in a round.
Special roles and game modes
TipsNot every round is a straight hider-versus-seeker match. Zombie rounds add an infection mechanic where a player who becomes a zombie can turn others into zombies too. Players can also become ghosts. The seeker has access to a powerup during the round that they can activate at a chosen moment. VIP server owners can control which game mode and map runs, and can designate the seeker themselves.
- In zombie rounds, getting tagged turns you into a zombie — and you can then infect other players.
- Ghosts are another state a player can enter during certain rounds.
- The seeker can activate a powerup mid-round.
- Seekers can freeze hiders; if you are frozen, another hider can melt the ice and free you.
- VIP server owners choose the game mode, map, and seeker through a control panel.

Common questions
FAQCan I choose whether I am a hider or a seeker?
The game assigns roles automatically, so you cannot pick one directly. If you play several rounds in a row you will naturally end up in both roles over time.
Where do I check my quests?
There is a quests section in the in-game menu where you can see both daily quests and larger ones along with their rewards.
Is it worth hiding in the same spot as another player?
The rules allow multiple hiders in one spot, but clustering together makes your whole group easier to find in one visit. Spreading out across different locations gives each hider a better chance of surviving the round.
