How a round works
SummaryAt the start of each round, the game assigns you to either the cat team or the mouse team. Cats win by catching every mouse before time runs out; mice win by surviving or eating as much cheese as they can. Once caught, a mouse sits out until the next round begins.
- Cat goal catch every mouse and stop them eating the cheese
- Mouse goal eat as much cheese as possible without getting caught
- Round end all mice caught, or the timer expires

Playing as a mouse
TipsYour job is to collect cheese while staying out of the cat's reach. Cheese is also the currency you spend on skins and perks, so every piece matters beyond just the round score.
- Use high platforms and narrow corridors that cats struggle to navigate quickly
- Coordinate with other mice to pull cats' attention in different directions
- Collect cheese to buy special perks to help you evade and sabotage the cat
Playing as a cat
TipsCats need to patrol the whole stage but focus on the spots where mice have to go. Cheese locations draw mice in, so holding those areas puts you in a strong position. When multiple cats are on the same team, splitting up to cover different zones stops mice from finding a safe path.
- Patrol near cheese spots
- Block narrow corridors to cut off escape routes
- Split the map between teammates so no area goes unguarded
Earning and spending cheese
StepCheese is the in-game currency. Mice collect it directly on the stage. You can spend it on skins and outfits for your cat. Mice can also use it on special perks that help with evading or sabotaging the cat.
- Browse the shop Look at available skins, outfits, and mouse perks before committing
- Buy perks Mouse perks bought with cheese can help you evade and sabotage cats
- Unlock skins Ten or more skins collected earns you the Collector badge

Common questions
FAQWhat happens when a cat catches me?
Once caught, you sit out for the rest of that round.
Do I need to spend real money to enjoy the game?
No — cheese is earned by playing rounds at no cost, and the core gameplay does not change whether you own any paid items or not. Skins and outfits are cosmetic, and mouse perks can be bought with cheese you earn in-game.
