Impostor | Among us — Controls you need to know
About
OverviewImpostor | Among Us is a Roblox game for up to twelve players where each round secretly assigns everyone as either a Crewmate or an Impostor. Crewmates complete tasks around the map and try to vote out the Impostors, while Impostors eliminate Crewmates one by one without blowing their cover. This guide walks you through the controls, both roles, the voting meeting, and how each side can win.

How voting meetings work
SummaryA meeting starts the moment someone reports a body. Everyone stops what they are doing and the chat opens so players can share information and argue their case. When discussion ends, everyone votes — the player who collects more than half the votes is ejected from the round. You can also choose not to vote, which is a valid option.
- Trigger a reported body pauses the game and opens the meeting for everyone
- Discussion share exactly where you were, what you saw, and when you saw it
- Voting the player with a majority of votes is ejected from the round
- Skipping withholding your vote is a legitimate option
- Impostor tactic steer suspicion toward an innocent Crewmate to protect yourself
Win conditions for each side
TableThe round ends as soon as one team meets its condition.
| Crewmate win (tasks) | all Crewmates finish every assigned task |
| Crewmate win (votes) | all Impostors are ejected through voting |
| Impostor win | Impostors eliminate enough Crewmates that Impostors are equal to or outnumber the remaining Crewmates |
| Role assignment | each round the game automatically reassigns who is a Crewmate and who is an Impostor |
