Getting started

Step
In short Your first few sessions should focus on learning the basics with starter towers before spending resources on anything else.

Every player begins with the Caveman tower, which is free and stays useful while you learn how maps work. Before you jump into a stage, enter any available redeem codes in the lobby to collect free gems and coins. Then pick a stage that matches your current towers.

  1. Enter codes redeem any active codes in the lobby before your first match to collect free gems and coins.
  2. Pick an easy stage Orc Camp is a solid first map; the Hog Rider boss is manageable with just the Caveman and Sniper starter towers.
  3. Collect your reward winning a match drops coins, gems, and XP, and harder maps give more of each.

Tower slots and loadout

Summary
In short Managing your tower slots well matters more than owning rare towers.

Each player has four tower slots by default, and each slot holds one tower from your inventory. You can earn a fifth slot by reaching the Level 25 reward. A sixth slot requires a Robux purchase. Five slots are enough to clear every map in the game.

Getting pet eggs

In short Harder maps give you better odds at rare eggs, so winning consistently pays off in more ways than coins.

Pet eggs drop from winning maps or can be purchased in the lobby. Each egg hatches into one pet.

Tips worth knowing
  • God Pet Eggs drop from any map win; one-star maps have a 1-in-200 chance, while five-star maps have a 1-in-50 chance.
  • Alien Pet Eggs come from Season 3 maps and hatch into six limited alien-themed pets.
  • The Premium Pet Egg costs Robux and is sold in the Zone 1 lobby — it can hatch any of 12 different pets.
  • The Premium Galactic Pet Egg is also sold for Robux and hatches six limited alien pets, with Alien Dragon being the rarest at 0.5% on a normal egg.
  • Event eggs like the Christmas 2022 Pet Egg are limited-time and only drop during their specific event world.
  • A higher boost level on the egg shifts the hatching odds toward rarer pets.

  • The Water Mushroom badge required having all other towers during March 2026.

Glossary
Tower slot
A loadout space that holds one tower from your inventory; you start with four and can earn or buy up to six.
Coins

What should I do first as a new player?

Redeem any active codes in the lobby to grab free coins and gems, then head into Orc Camp, which you can clear with the starter Caveman and Sniper towers.

Do I need to spend Robux to progress?

No. Five tower slots, which you earn for free by reaching Level 25, are enough to beat every map. The sixth slot and several individual towers cost Robux, but they are optional.

Is co-op required for harder maps?

Shadow Realm on Nightmare difficulty is noted as particularly tough in solo play, and having teammates — ideally with towers like Golden Dragon and Medusa — makes it much more manageable.

How do I get better pets from eggs?
