First things to do before your first battle
StepTwo quick tasks will give you a head start at no cost. First, there is a code you can redeem for 350 gems. Second, joining the game's group and liking the game earns you a free microphone.

Win milestones worth chasing
Check
There are four win-count badges in the game. They give you concrete targets to aim for and mark your progress as you improve. Losing carries no penalty to your gear or progress.
- 1 win the first badge
- 5 wins a natural early checkpoint
- 10 wins a further win milestone
- 50 wins the long-term win milestone
- Losing no gems lost, no equipment taken away, no progress reversed
How gems work and how to earn them
Summary
Gems are the currency you spend on every item in the game, from microphones to stage effects. Winning a rap battle earns you gems; losing one does not. You can also buy gems directly with Robux if you prefer. Each redeem code works only once per account.
