Cheese Escape — Getting started in Chapter 1

The main ending of Chapter 1 unlocks once you have all nine cheeses. Many of them sit near key items you also need.

1. First cheese Leave the first Safe Zone exit, go straight down the hallway, turn left at the first opening, then left again and continue down the hall. Turn right around the wall and go straight to find this cheese on a table. Pick up the Green Key here too.
2. Second cheese Continue past the first cheese and go up the stairs into the stone hallway. Turn right before the large hole; the cheese is on a table at the end of that room.
3. Third cheese From the stone hallway, drop into the hole and turn right around the wall into a small doorway. The cheese is on a table in the crevice there.
4. Fourth cheese From the same hole, turn right, go straight down the first hallway, and enter the Green Door. Enter the passcode 3842, then go straight toward the music. Pick up the Red Key, then collect the cheese from the table — this teleports you above the maze.
5. Fifth cheese From the second Safe Zone exit, turn right then left. Pass the Button Door, then turn left and right to reach the Red Door. Use the Red Key to collect the board, return through the Green Door and both glowing white doors, then use the board to cross the broken bridge and take the Blue Key.
6. Sixth cheese Leave the first Safe Zone exit, go straight, turn left, then right, and continue until you find a small crevice with a table.
7. Seventh cheese Near the second Safe Zone exit, go past the 30-cheese-click door, then straight and right into a dead end. The cheese is on a table there.
8. Eighth cheese Return to the stone hallway via the second-cheese route, go through the doorway where the third cheese was, and use the Blue Key to open the Blue Door. The cheese is on a table next to a green button.
9. Ninth cheese Press the green button to start a 30-second countdown, then find the Button Door quickly. You can press the button as many times as you need if the timer runs out.
