Traits and how to improve them
TipsTraits are modifiers attached to a unit that change its damage, range, cost, or other stats. You apply them by using a Trait Reroll item, and any unit summoned from the Banner or bought from the Black Market already has a 25% chance to come with a trait naturally.
- Trait Rerolls drop from the Battlepass, Level Rewards, the Black Market, the Time Chamber, Dungeons, and codes.
- Level rewards scale up sharply — reaching level 150 gives 75 Trait Rerolls in one go.
- Negative traits like Nearsighted (range ×0.75) and Cringe (damage ×0.8, range ×0.8) are worth rerolling off your best units.
- Heroic (damage ×1.3, range ×1.1) and Sniper (range ×1.3, +5% crit chance, crit damage ×1.5) are among the strongest positive traits.
- The Impatient trait auto-upgrades the unit every wave but gives no sell refund.
- Once you hit level 100, trading for artifacts and unobtainable units is the next useful step.
Prestige system
SummaryPrestiging merges two copies of the same unit together to raise its power. Every prestige after Prestige I has a chance to fail, and that chance grows with each level. To guarantee Prestige V with no failures, always merge two units that are at the same prestige level as each other — this path requires 16 total copies. A successful prestige raises the unit's damage by roughly 10%.
Summer Event — earning and spending tokens
CheckThe Summer Event runs a 30-wave raid that opens every 10 minutes and supports up to 16 players. Your first five wins each day pay out 120–180 Summer Tokens each, plus a 150-token bonus on the fifth win, for a daily boosted total of 750–1,050 tokens. After those five wins, each additional win pays only 10–30 tokens. Thanos and Krumi are disabled in this raid, and any player who deals zero damage receives no rewards.
- Complete your five daily boosted raid wins before spending long sessions on unlimited runs.
- Bring units that apply Poison, Burning, or Bleeding each DoT type can only be applied once per enemy, so variety matters.
- Check the Summer Shop before spending all your tokens on the banner The Claudius (Secret tier) costs 5,000 tokens.
- Banner spins cost 100 tokens each or 900 for ten; the Ultimate-tier Flocka sits at a 0.25% chance.
- Pure Souls (750 each, up to 3) and Blank Keys (200 each, up to 10) are also available in the shop.
Progressing through Classic mode
StepClassic was reworked into four stages — Tutorial, Casual, Hardcore, and Competitive. Tutorial and Casual offer First Clear Rewards, while Hardcore and Competitive add Daily Clear Rewards on top of that. Competitive also has a Weekly Clear Reward and an uncapped wave count. Bringing a unit that shares the same franchise category as the map you're playing grants it a +200% damage buff.
- Clear Tutorial first it pays a one-time First Clear Reward.
- Move to Casual its First Clear Reward is separate from Tutorial's, so you earn both.
- Farm Hardcore daily the Daily Clear Reward refreshes every day.
- Target Competitive once your team is strong daily and weekly rewards stack, and the wave count is now truly infinite.
- Match your unit franchise to the map the +200% damage bonus is free power.
- Use Party Finder for harder stages you can set level or elo requirements when advertising your server.
Trading and the value list
TipsThe game has a full trading system that lets players exchange units for other units. The community maintains a value list measured in gems for every tradable unit, and demand tags like Stable, Overpaid, Underpaid, and Unstable tell you how the market is moving.
- Wait until level 100 before focusing on trades — that is when trading becomes the next useful step.
- Secret-tier units like Ragnar (32,000 gems) sit at the very top of the value list.
- Event-tier units such as Sir Snaps-a-Lot and Christmas Spidey are listed at 1,000 gems each but are marked Underpaid.
- Units tagged Unstable can swing in either direction quickly.
- Artifacts also have tradable value — use the Tradable filter added in Update 53 to see which items in your inventory you can actually offer.
- The Party Finder is useful for finding trade partners as well as teammates.

Common questions
FAQWhat should I do first when I start the game?
Join the official group before anything else — it gives you 200 extra starting cash. Then open the Guidebook and work through chapters 1 to 10, saving your currency to pull units on the banner once pulling will actually help you clear harder content.
How do I get stronger units without spending Robux?
Summon from the Tower Store using gems, complete the Guidebook chapters for Ultimate Crates, and grind Dungeons for evolution materials and Trait Rerolls. Once you hit level 100, trading is another route to units you cannot summon or buy outright.
Why can't I find a good team for raids?
Use the Party Finder — click its icon on the right side of your screen and either join an advertised server or create your own with level requirements set. It works across different servers, so you are not limited to whoever is in your current lobby.
What is the difference between Classic and Competitive mode?
Classic is now split into four stages: Tutorial, Casual, Hardcore, and Competitive. Competitive has no wave cap and offers both daily and weekly clear rewards, making it the main endgame mode for experienced players. The earlier stages give First Clear and Daily Clear rewards that are worth grabbing before moving up.
How do I get Secret-tier units?
Secret units are not available through the Tower Store, the Store, or crates. As of Update 53, most are obtained by collecting banner items that drop from specific maps and using them to activate their respective banners. A few are only obtainable through trading.
