About

Overview

Flood Escape Ultimate drops you into a map where rising water is always gaining on you — find buttons, use your movement tricks, and get out before it's too late. This guide covers the core movement actions, how buttons work, private server practice, and what the badges tell you about your progress.

Four movement actions worth learning first

Tips
In short Knowing all four movement actions turns obstacles that stop most players into quick shortcuts.

The game gives you more than a basic jump. Slide, AirDive, WallJump, and Ziplines each solve different problems on a map, and the sooner you get comfortable with all of them, the more maps you can clear.

Tips worth knowing
  • Slide through low gaps or pick up speed along the ground when the flood is close behind you.
  • AirDive while you're airborne to throw yourself forward and land on a platform you couldn't otherwise reach.
  • WallJump off vertical surfaces to climb up sections that have no ladders or ramps.
  • Use Ziplines when you spot them — they move you quickly across sections and can save a run that would otherwise fail.

Practicing on a private server

Step
In short A private server lets you repeat a single map as many times as you need without waiting on other players.

With over 300 maps available and new ones added every month, there will always be one that gives you trouble. A private server is the fastest way to drill a specific map until it clicks.

  1. Open the command bar press F2 to bring it up.
  2. Create a private server follow the prompt to set one up for yourself.
03

Deaths, badges, and measuring your progress

Summary
In short Deaths and button presses both count toward badges, so every failed run still moves you forward.

The game hands out badges for dying and for pressing buttons, which means failure is built into the progression. You earn your first death badge on the very first run that goes wrong, and the counts keep climbing from there. Two maps — Rotate Room and Destination — each have their own completion badge if you want a specific goal to aim for.

  • First death badge fail a map once
  • 10 deaths badge fail 10 times total
  • 100 deaths badge fail 100 times total
  • 1,000 deaths badge fail 1,000 times total
  • 500 buttons badge press 500 buttons across all runs
  • 1,000 buttons badge press 1,000 buttons across all runs
