SCP Demonstration Guide: Controls to learn before your first round
About
OverviewSCP Demonstration drops you into a secret SCP facility where several competing factions fight for control. Your side either detonates the Alpha Warhead to end the match or escapes the facility — while the other side tries to stop you. This guide covers the controls, factions, key hazards, and how to earn credits without spending Robux.

How a round plays out
StepThe Alpha Warhead is the central objective. Triggering it ends the match, but defenders can cancel the countdown — and the window for that cancellation is very tight.
- Pursue the warhead the attacking side works to detonate the Alpha Warhead inside the facility to win the match.
- Cancel in the final stretch defenders who cancel the countdown within the last 15 seconds of the timer stop the detonation.
- Escape the facility scientists and Chaos Insurgency players can also win by making it out of the facility alive.
Faction roles and what each one does
TableFive factions share the facility, and they do not all want the same thing. Switching sides happens through specific in-game actions rather than a menu choice.
| SCP | corner and eliminate human players inside the facility |
| Chaos Insurgency | escape the facility to claim victory; escaping also unlocks the ability to respawn as Chaos Insurgency in future rounds |
| Nine-Tailed Fox (MTF) | spawns as a military response force; unlocked when a scientist successfully escapes |
| Scientist | escaping the facility grants you the ability to spawn as MTF and counts as a personal victory |
Hazards that can end your run instantly
WarnThe facility is not just full of enemy players. Two environmental threats will kill you before another faction even gets the chance.

Common questions
FAQHow do I unlock the ability to spawn as Nine-Tailed Fox?
Play as a scientist and escape the facility. A successful scientist escape grants the MTF spawn permission, letting you enter future rounds as Nine-Tailed Fox.
Can I earn game passes without spending Robux?
Yes. The game awards credits automatically every minute you are in a session — one per minute for regular players, two per minute for Roblox Plus members. Those credits can be spent directly on game passes.
What happens if the Alpha Warhead goes off while I am still inside?
Most players die, but surviving the explosion is possible. Making it through the detonation alive is the condition for earning the T-minus 90 seconds badge.
Is sneaking different on mobile?
Yes. On keyboard, pressing C puts you into a quiet crouched sneak. On mobile, the same action becomes a slow walk.
